I’ve been watching your videos and I love them!! I’m a rising junior in High School in nyc I’m so interested in Sophie Davis BS/MD because I too strive to become a physician (neurologist) Questions run through my mind like: Can you choose majors while in the program? How competitive is it to get into? What do they look for most in a student? What’s your schedule like? Did you have to do a interview before getting in? I’ve watched your previous video about it but there still so much more to the process I wanted to know about. So much questions and I would love to hear back from you! I’m glad I subscribed to see someone in my dream school and your amazing content/editing! Have a good day!!

but just some quick answers, you cant choose a major but you can minor in the program, it's also pretty competitive (i googled the acceptance rate and wikipedia said 4%) but dont let that stop u, its just a number heh, they usually look for those are 100% committed to becoming a doctor, and those who also want to give back to communities and are socially aware. so if someone is in it for the money or something, thats not a good sign they have a curriculum that you have to follow, so besides my electives, my classes are given to me by the program and are mandatory (pretty rigid schedule). yes, its a 2 step app process. interviews are given to only a handful of applicants and is considered "round 2" of the application process.
