i don’t know how i’ve been listening to this song and i just realized the ending. when he says “go pop up by the lake…. put my ass in a lawn chair, toes in the clay, not a worry in the world a PBR on the way” saying that while being on vacation or what not is great, but going back home to your normal way of life is always the best

@6:33 I live in Texas. It gets hot here, but we have lakes, beaches, mountains, etc. Not to mention, we have rivers that you can float which is one of our biggest attractions. 10/10 would recommend.

Y'all would love the white, sandy beaches on the coast of Alabama & the Gulf of Mexico. Hard to beat the beautiful beaches here.

Hey guys. First, great reaction but I knew you’d love this! Btw, not sure if you know who Jimmy Buffett is but he was in the Knee Deep video and he passed a couple days ago. He’s gonna leave such a huge hole in entertainment and will be sorely missed. I wanted to BEG you guys to dedicate a reaction in his honor to Margaritaville. If you’re not familiar with it, I think y’all will really like it too. It was released in ‘77 and has been a summer/ beach classic since then. Jimmy was from Pascagoula MS on the Gulf Coast and moved to the Florida Keys in his 20’s. He’s become a symbol of the island lifestyle since and is on several songs by different artists that have that island vibe. Also, he’s an idol to so many other artists, his name being mentioned in so many songs from Alan Jackson to Kenny Chesney to Luke Bryan etc. Buffet’s truly an icon. You may know also that he has a chain of restaurants named ‘Margaritaville’ that are pretty doggone good. Anyway, I didn’t want y’all to miss his significance on your country music journey. And I love Texas guys but you can’t find prettier beaches anywhere than Florida. You should check out the beaches of South Walton (Destin, Panama City Beach, & on 30-A) in the panhandle which is where we often vacation. Actually, after we got home from there a few years ago we found out that Zack Brown and family had been there while we were there and had eaten at a restaurant the same night that we were going to but we changed our minds at the last minute, dang it! A lot of country stars do vacay there tho, it’s a southern thing! 🏖️⛵️🌴

great reaction when I asked for this song I had hopes Lysi would like it shes hard to please with songs but I knew she would love this one and the video when you said 10 out of 10 I had a big smile lol this is one of my favorites of their songs and next time you guys go to the beach this and knee deep should be on the playlist lol

As a native Texan, that was born on Galveston island, I'd like to say that we've got just as good of beaches as anywhere else does. They just might not be as popular as other's might be. Though, them not being so well known is what makes them better, imo anyway.

Florida has a high cost of living. Check out somewhere like Kentucky or Tennessee they have some awesome rivers, lakes, great views and scenery, trails for hiking biking and off roaring. Lots more outdoor stuff to do without all the population and high prices 😉
