This is what The Netherlands would have looked like, if we hadn't come to our senses 50 years ago. When we realised that cities should be for people, not for cars.

bio django Not only the bike system. Look how tight the normal sidewalks are. Pedestrians have close to no room for them. No wonder they walk around on bike lanes all the time. American capitals are build for cars only. Maybe metro as well, but that's it. Even worse than New York is LA. Disgusting city in terms of traffic Management.

I love watching all of your videos, you must be in great shape from all of the physical activity that you do! My husband and I think that you need a much LOUDER horn, and some way to amplify your voice, like a headset that’s similar to what’s inside of a motorcycle helmet, only the sound will go out to the morons in the bike lane instead of someone else who is riding with you - motorcyclists usually have them so they can speak to their passenger or other people riding with them easily but I’m sure you could rig something up. Keep up the great videos, and keep being safe!

Honestly I doubt that a louder horn will help much. If people don't give a fuck and don't pay attention at all, they will still not show the desired reaction when its louder...

It’s hilarious to see how many problems the world gives you if you are the type that must ring bell and yell bike line rather than be a samurai. As a driver and cyclist both, I've tried explaining to the drivers and cyclists that argue with each other that they have a common enemy - the pedestrian. Cars and bikes in general go in fairly straight lines and try to avoid collisions, whereas pedestrians just...don't. There's a spot on my commute where the bike lane runs along a footpath, but dips 8 foot lower before turning into a subway below a big road. I sometimes have pedestrians just jump down onto the lane (rather than walk round), meaning I'm going 25mph and suddenly a man drops from the sky in front of me. Compared to that, a car cutting me off is so slow paced it's no problem at all.
