Gotham Bikes and SurRon NYC has teamed up and put together NYC's first official group ride and I made it to Jersey City to pick up the Team Of Powerful Lithium... So grab your riding gloves and join us on a ride with which we have long been awaiting...

@@omen2467 One of the crew also read through the bridges and tunnels rules and regulations before hand and discovered that we as ebike fall between the parameters to be able to travel through it…

They usually keep it at a decent speed 30mph or below most of the ride. It's usually the last stretch where everyone knows the end spot that everyone hauls ass.

My two bikes like to cruise at 20/24 mph and max out at 26/28 mph. I think as long as the slower bikes where the destination is they can always make their way there at their own pace.

I don't understand that stupid law . Bikes have no registration and no license plates, what if I ride on the street? is it legal or not? am I #1 target for police or they don't care? Wait you did 40 miles on that without charging? and at the end you still had 75% of battery left?

These group rides are giving the city a reason to outlaw these bike. You guys don’t ride responsibility at all. Sorry to say this but it’s just my opinion…. I think the law is on the table to be passed.
