I take a walk in NYC in the neighborhood of Downtown Flushing, Queens along Prince Street, Tangram Mall, Main Street, New World Mall, Golden Mall Food Court, and Roosevelt Avenue. This area is home to the largest Chinatown in NYC, featuring many restaurants, food markets, cultural stores, and a transportation hub.

Downtown Flushing is busy and lively. There's no shortage of food options with all the food courts and restaurants in the area. 😋 It's still sad to hear about New Flushing Bakery closing, but I'm glad you were able to make a review of their egg tarts. 👍 Thank you for sharing this walk, AK! 🤗

Came upon your Borough Park video totally by chance, looked for your newest video and this is it--and it's AWESOME! Thanks for taking us on these wonderful walks, and giving the right amount of info and letting the neighborhoods speak for themselves. Bravo! Most importantly thanks for walking while filming and not using a camera that's "steady." I've been a paraplegic for 15 years now and I "felt" as if I were walking through the City again with this pov. Absolutely priceless!!! Guess I'll be binge watching your vids the rest of the weekend! 🙂

I learn so much from your video-walks, Action Kid. Thank you for what you do. Back in the 80s, I stayed at the Westbury Hotel on 69th & Madison. I was wondering if you'd be so kind as to start a video-walk from there sometime. Be well.

Thank you Ken for recording. I love these walks that you do. I have never been to NYC and it's always been on my bucket list to go there for the great Chinese foods that I see all the time on KZfaq. I'm from San Francisco. Saw that you were out here last year. Would have liked to met up with you. Please be mindful to pan SLOWLY (1:39) when moving the camera 180 degrees. Otherwise, it'll feel like I'm on a sickie ride at the fair.

Welcome back to NYC ActionKid! I knew you wouldn't last in FL. There is no place like home, isn't it? 😂😂😂 QUESTION: I know you tried baked buns from Mai Lai Wah in downtown Manhattan (I went there because I saw one of your videos). Anyway, I'm looking for similar baked buns in Flushing... any suggestions, please? Thanks for sharing your walks

I grew up in Flushing in the 50s, 60s and 70s, left NY in 78. I worked on Mainstreet for several years in the early 70s at a small men's clothing store called Tweags. For food there was mostly Pizza and Jewish Deli's no Asian back then.

Ahh yes, Flushing. One of the busiest Transit hotspots: A Busway on Main Street, the (7) 's Eastern Terminus, and a stop on the Port Washington Branch of the LIRR. 7 bus lines connect here and Jamaica, with 6 of them running up to College Point and Whitestone.

I'm really enjoying the tour. An NYC friend of mine loves Gloria pizza in Flushing. I tried it and thought it was good but I wouldn't say it was my favorite. He grew up on it so it's his favorite. lol I'm curious, how would you rate Gloria's compared to other pizza places? Taylor Swift, oh no, we can't escape her. lol I'm still trying to figure out what all the mania is surrounding her. lol I loved the expression on that little boy's face when the man showed him how to hit the gong, drum? It was priceless:-) I'll keep watching the show and see what happens next:-) 🧚‍♀

It used to be in Flushing Queens, that's where I tried it, but apparently they moved their establishment to Forrest Hills. I felt the taste and quality was right up there with the various pizza places I've tried in NYC. @@ActionKid

As always, another excellent walk! Many thanks! The street vendors remind me of when I was in the Army in Bangkok 50+ years ago. There was one street vendor who grilled bananas on bamboo skewers on a charcoal grill. He'd dunk them into simmering honey and then into ice water. The honey would crystalize all over the banana. Scrumptious!
