Eric and David were great conversationalists. Loved what Eric said about Mary Lincoln. Smart and skilled at politics. A nice tonic to all the awful attsvls on her vs yrt

Very very good...however David usually doesn't feel the need to jump in so often as he does in this interview, especially with such an engaging, informative, and interesting person as Eric.

I made the same observation. At times I wished he'd let him continue speaking

Lincoln was the first "to meet with black people in the White House, other than as slaves..." is this true? Hadn't Adams met with a delegation from free S Domingue (Haiti) about lowering trade restrictions and, tentatively, about recognition?
