Nyjah took a gnarly slam in practice and was 80% sure that he would not compete in qualifiers/finals the next day. Dr. David Sales came up to LA on a moments notice to perform Next Level Rehab on his injuries. After physical therapy Nyjah would soon decide to compete and end up qualifying 2nd for finals. Finals with 3 attempts left to go in the Control Section Nyjah ended up breaking his king pin (truck) on a big spin kickflip, Shane O'Neill then let him borrow his board only to land it next attempt. Nyjah then pulled a nearly unlandable kickflip nose grind to lock in 1st place for the competition.

Don’t think people realize how much this dude must love skateboarding. Every time he skates he puts himself through hell. Not talking about the bails except some of them but I mean if you watch any of his somewhat newer skate vids this man has constant knee problems. Skating can kill knees and ankles with the impact and how often you roll ankles which can lead to knee problems because your compensating. Shout out to Jah man

This isn't a miracle! It comes down to having a good quality doc, with the technology. While having a league willing to shuffle competition for you, That doesn't mean I don't think Nyjah is a freak he is consistently fighting for the street league championship. I'd consider him one of the best skaters in the world, however I don't think professional sporting events should shuffle competition for an individual if he is unable to compete in his designated slot then such is the nature of professional sport. It makes out that he is bigger than the actual competition!
