After an out of the ordinary week for the New York Susquehanna and Western Railway, Friday March 15th would see a massive daylight running of road freight SU-99 from Bogota, NJ to Binghamton, NY. Two daylight runnings of the SU-100 without any return SU-99 earlier in the week would mean that all four of the railroads SD70M-2's (4060, 4062, 4064 and 4066), along with SD45-2 3634 and heritage unit SD40-2 "the silver bullet" 3024, would lead a 108 mixed freight consist westbound into New York. The departure time was in the morning as were each of the two preceding SU-100's, although these are usually scheduled for overnight runs respectively.
I was able to grab some new angles of the train as it traversed from Maywood Station, the "five way" intersection from the Midland Park side, Newfoundland Station, and finally Sparta Junction before the train eventually continued into New York state.
