Over the past couple of weeks, the NYSW road trains have been operating on a bizarre schedule. SU-100 has been leaving Binghamton in the morning and arriving at Bogota at night, while SU-99 leaves Bogota the following morning. Since my hotel was right next to the Southern Division, it was easy enough for me to walk over to the Midland Avenue crossing once the train was about 15 minutes away.
I had been regularly checking on the train's progress while warming up in my room, so once I saw a post that it was in Midland Park, I made my way over. Sure enough, it wasn't long before a set of headlights emerged in the distance and SU-100 came rumbling past, slowing to a crawl as it passed through the PC Yard. SD70M-2 4066, SD70M-2 4064, and SD33-ECO 3012 are on the point, pulling 43 cars. 4066 has had its K5LLA swapped out for a K5LA since the last time I saw it leading a train.
