I always like seeing train videos that are in Peekskill, New York. Peekskill is the place where the late Paul Reubens was born. But, There are somethings I’m not quite a fan of. Mainly considering with the railroad crossing bell constantly ringing compared to the ones in New Jersey, and how the Metro North cab car horns are quite loud and deep. But I can see that those Metro North cab cars are quite similar to the ones NJ Transit has.

The Market Street crossing is still intact, but the tracks don't go much further beyond there. It is still occasionally used for car storage.

Thanks! The closest areas I can think of are the Springfield Line from New Haven to Springfield, the Pennsylvanian on the SEPTA Thorndale Line out of Philadelphia, and the long-distance trains out of Albany. The Lake Shore Limited and Maple Leaf both use Genesis units up in that area.

I'd definitely like to try this summer. I'd love to get another video of the Glimmer Glass Bridge in Manasquan, for instance. As for lift bridges, I've always wanted to see the two in Point Pleasant in action, but I have no clue how frequently they open.

@@GenesisSanctuary I actually wanted to ask about those exact bridges! I’ve only ever seen one open once. Sadly the Route 71 bridge is closed for a while due to a critical mechanical failure. I definitely want to try and get some videos of some of the harder to find bridges in the state on film.
