A large low will continue to affect NZ’s weather pattern across the weekend and into next week.
Please check your local forecasts to keep up to date with any changes this weekend.
The low itself is quite unpredictable, creating areas of instability (rain and showers).

Fantastic. The very best and most trustworthy forecasters are those who say "we don't know" when that is the reality of the situation. Far too often I see forecasts that have a 30% level of certainty associated with them, meaning they're more likely to be wrong than right -- but they issue a forecast anyway. The only thing worse than no information is bad information. Keep up the good work guys!

Already a month into daily consistent threatening rainy patches, it's reminding me of the three back to back La Nina's and terrible run of weather for what seemed years. The Jan / Feb sun is already a distant memory and summer is so far away! Guess I'll learn crochet then.
