In the last 5 years or so, I have seen these snow bearing systems come into the Australian SE and dump good amounts of snow on the ski fields, while we miss out completely. This is what happens when we get the blocking highs to the east of the country!

it's a classic case of it's to good to be true then it usually is. looks like the end of the month is going to be custard. but we still need more rain - who would have thought that a diary farmer would be asking for rain in July when the calving season is in full swing.

I have a new fire being installed next Thursday and Friday and we also have the interior walls of the house being insulated so hope that it does not get too wet. My barometer recorded 1035 here in New Plymouth. Today a cold and nasty SW wind blowing and these winds make the home (built 1953) cold and I burn so much wood ( 2 fires) going. Be glad when the inbuilt fire gets done. Thanks.

I don't let my account balance go to waste, and uSMART's 4.6% annualized return makes it a useful investment tool for me. I can invest in stocks anytime, anywhere to make my money more active.

Cheers for the report Phil. I always find it amusing that 90 mile beach in NZ is 55 and 80 mile beach is 155 miles. We always thought the Aussies exaggerated more, growing up in NZ. 🤣
