Today were looking at the Montech Fighter 500 which features a full glass side panel, a unique front mesh panel, 4 pre-installed RGB fans, and very easy cable management which is a huge improvement from the Montech X1 that I reviewed earlier on the channel.

For anywhere between $50-$60 the Montech Fighter 500 can be purchased and is an absolute BEAST of a budget case. So much so that I am actually moving my whole PC from my old NZXT case to the Fighter 500. I appreciate that! I had no clue what I was doing at first, still not great in this video even lol but I've been making tiktok videos more and got to 50k followers on there nans bought a real camera and mic...new youtube videos should be 10x better now!

I bought a black one for 70 dollars here in Brazil, I like it a lot, my setup is i3 10105f, 16gb ram 2666 (2 x 8gb), corsair cx550 and a rx560 4gb

Montec flyer is an excellent case. I have a full hard tube water cooling setup along with a 6800XT. I have no issue getting everything in this case. I am proud to say this is one of my best modern built ever yet with this case.

I'm so excited. I just got this case a few days ago and have some more parts arriving soon. Its gonna be my first build and I was worried about buying a budget case but your video definitely inspired confidence.

@@YourPersonalGeek Update, I did build in this case. Kinda forgot about my comment here lmao but it was definitely simple to build in and was a great budget choice. I was kinda worried about the case being this cheap but it all worked out. I actually posted a video of it if you care to see.

Wait, was your old case an NZXT S340? That’s what I have! Good work on this video. The production value is through the roof. It made me forget about the furnace going off every few minutes.

6:25, I feel personally attacked LOL. My goodness that new intro too! I like that they also reduced the size of their logo as well. It isn't as in your face as their previous ones.

Yeah that was one of the things I disliked about the X1 I'd be really happy to see this style of smaller logos with all their cases moving forward

Exactly its honestly a great deal, I used this case for about 6 months before switching to Fractal Meshify C and I had great temps and zero problems what so ever!

Great video man, digging the new intro, keep up the good work!! Where's your beanie????, I got an nzxt case, found the same thing, zero air flow especially in Brisbane Australia heat. I ended up with a li lain 011 dynamic.. but I like the look of this case and it's smaller footprint.

Thanks Mark! The beanie, long hair, and mustache has been my covid look this is what I normally look like 😂😂 I realllly like the Lian Li 011 I want to do a build in one soon but you know...can't find decently priced parts anywhere and I'd take some heat! Currently 5 degrees in Wisconsin

Thank you so much I wanted to take my time and actually try to put a lot more effort into it and I think it paid off 🙂 I agree, I'm lucky to have so many options at all different price points as others have told me they have little choice similar to you. Hopefully you see some less popular brands soon!

I use epidemicsound for all my music but you have to pay a small monthly fee! Worth it for creators though

@@YourPersonalGeek I believe those are the keys! KZfaq's algorithm really cares about consistent uploads. Some channels do good even with low view per video rate, making it up by uploading a lot. Good luck!

How does this case do with the IO you have in the front? I need to get one and I’m wondering how the airflow is for it, also should I get a cooler with 3 fans or 2 and put it above the existing fan in the front? Thanks!

Hi there, question for you... have same case fighter 500 but the fans dont light up and change colors... but they do turn and keep it cool... but i would like to see the lights in the fans working... how can i make this happen?

How good would this case be without all these modifications in terms of coolig? (I don't have the expertise to add fans and stuff). I wanted Montech X3 because of it's 6 fans & awesome cooling but GPU clearance of X3 is only 305mm where my GPU is 308mm.

Bro I don't know how to connect the rgb fans, I plugged the molex in but where do I plug in the 4 pin on the end of the molex. When I plug the fans individually, the fans don't light up properly. I NEED HELP

It comes out of the power supply man there is nowhere to plug it in unless you have a modular power supply. If so, plug the other end into the power supply!

You just have got a werid version of this case r this was filmed a long time ago. I bought this exact case and it doesn’t have that slit next to the power button and it has space for two 120 fans at the top

They all connect together then just plug one molex from your power supply into the daisy chain of fans

I would double check all the small front panel connections to the motherboard that would be my guess, maybe you're off by 1 little pin

Just unscrew them and undo the daisy chain connection, it will be really easy once you take the back cover off!

Not on these ones unfortunately, you could replace the fans with a cheap 5 pack of asia horse fans that have a controller. Here are some that are cheap and perform very nicely! amzn.to/3gXYbSf
