Honestly, I liked the 2021 version. I teach high school computer hardware classes, and the 2021 version was better suited for my students. I liked the small details on how to use the compressed air, and how they need to be 18 to purchase. Good job on both!

Try NOT to shake the Air Can when spraying. It will release a liquid, and getting liquid on your PC is NOT GOOD. Other than that, great tutorial, and great job!

The cans also get super cold after a few sprays and liquid comes out. I hate these cans. I wish they actually made air in a can. And not these chemical compounds.
@JaRyBo13
@JaRyBo13 3 жыл бұрын
@@reaperactualgaming3075 it’s not chemical compounds though. It’s like scuba tanks, they can’t just put air in there because it wouldn’t be enough, they have to compress the gas. I’m not sure but I think it’s stored as liquid co2, and when the pressure is released, it turns back into the gaseous co2

from personal experience, huffing air duster is one of the worst ways to get high. It’s incredibly easy to give yourself what i think is heart failure and its called “the sudden sniffing death”. basically your heart stops dead in its tracks and you’re just stuck high with your heart failing, completely surrendered to death. But I’m 1.5 years sober from duster and 8 days away from being a year sober from everything. So I’ll be seeing better days. hope i helped anyone struggling out there

should also try and not let your fans spin when you dust them. The canisters or electric dusters can cause the fans to spin past their RPM limit and damage the bearings, additionally, could even spin them the wrong way. Best to hold the fins or apply some tape, I just hold each one as I spray. Learnt the hard way by blowing out my intake fans allowing them to spin freely by the air being blown. Its unlikely to happen unless your silly with it, but better to be safe than sorry.

long time viewer, first time commenter. Disagree with the whole germs thing @ 2:50 Bacteria only last on metal and plastic surfaces for around 3 - 5 days.
@YourPersonalGeek
@YourPersonalGeek 3 жыл бұрын
Sure bacteria mostly but norovirus can last up to a few weeks and ringworm, which isn't actually a worm but a fungus can live up to 18 months and can be picked up by pets and easily get into carpet and rugs. Also while common cold causing bacteria may only survive a short time, others that can still cause resipitory discomfort. Think of a fan, its constantly pulling air in so each day new people or new stuff you interact can be drawn into it or blown into the air...point is, clean your PC because its harboring some nasty stuff over time!
@YourPersonalGeek
@YourPersonalGeek 3 жыл бұрын
Lets say your dog has it, you pet the dog therefore can spread it to other surfaces, correct? Lets say you swap out a pc part or do some maintenance it then moves to those surfaces, correct? I'm not sure what point you're trying to make, its not like one set of germs enters your pc and dies after 5 days and thats it, right? You're constantly bringing in new germs, why don't you go inhale some fan exhaust from a pc that hasn't been cleaned in 6 months tell me how you feel
@YourPersonalGeek
@YourPersonalGeek 3 жыл бұрын
And its not like you're 100% going to get sick obviously but that wasn't the point the point is its gross and it should be cleaned and germs are one of a lot of potential things you can benefit from after cleaning out dust after months of build up

Hey I was wondering about if this cleaning method is really that good because when you blow some of the dust, isn't some going to get stuck in like corners or so of the computer since the only part for it to go out of the computer is the side where the glass panel is ?

if you wanted to properly clean your pc and not pray the dust from one part to another you would unplug and unscrew it and wipe it down unless it has radiators which you need the air cans to clean those out

You've seen an improvement since cleaning you mean? Dust can make it overheat pretty easily and thermal throttling will kill performance! Depends how dusty your house is too, I can clean mine like every 4-6 months and barely any dust or anything but I have no pets and use air purifiers throughout

Are his front fans facing the wrong direction? It looks to me like they are in an exhaust configuration not an intake orientation. Generally the side of the fan with the label is the "blow" side. The fans are designed that way so the direction of the airflow can also be used to cool the fans motor, which is typically on the back/label side. I may not be seeing it correctly. Not hating, just an observation. If I'm right you would see better thermal performance if you turned them around.

A little might settle back down to the bottom sure, main thing is getting most of it out so it doesn't clog up fans and other parts causing overheating problems. You'll never get it all out but that's OK!
