Anyone else well they been on death row. Biggest mistake : camera in courtroom. It then became a spectacle. The glove being shrunk and not fitting mistake 2. Mistake 3 fuhrman lying about saying the n word and thus taking the fifth so he wouldn't further incriminate himself. Also remember this is 1996 before all his other legal troubles. He's desperately trying to restore his "Juice" persona that was previously so celebrated by the public. He's a narcissist sociopath who thinks he can actually restore his legacy and image that he enjoyed so much prior to the murders. Only pure narcissism mixed with sociopathic detachment could overcome the sheer foolishness and stupidity of doing such a thing after having been acquitted and essentially freed from the burden of murder. His lawyers must have been shaking their heads.

You make a good observation. However, this is a man that had the cash to employ (and for 2 years) THE BEST legal brains in America to keep his ass out of prison. Personally, I don't believe OJ Simpson murdered both Ron Goldman & Nicole. However and quite clearly he's NOT entirely innocent. Therefore and for two years, the legal professionals that he employed to defend him would have also trained him (and forever) to talk about the case in this manner & fashion as quite clearly he has got a dark secret. OJ Simpson knows what really happened that night. As do major players of his defence team, many of which would have taken THE TRUTH to the grave. I'll put it out there. From my own independent research, I believe OJ Simpson hired Glen Edward Rogers to rob Nicole (after becoming acquainted with him via Faye Resnick) of some expensive jewellery both were in dispute over the ownership of. However and in a tragic twist of fate, the robbery attempt spiralled out of control when out of the blue, Ron Goldman turned up. The only reason why R.Goldman turned up was because earlier on that evening, Nicole's mother had not noticed that she had dropped her reading glasses on the pavement outside the Meezaluna restaurant. As soon as Goldman turned up, Glen Edward Rogers killer & animalistic instincts kicked in. There was only ever going to be one outcome. Rogers then fled the scene. OJ Simpson is expecting & left waiting for a call from Rogers to say that he's done his deed (i.e. robbed Nicole) and is waiting to meet OJ Simpson to hand over the disputed items & get paid. However, the call never comes. OJ Simpson sensing something is wrong goes to Nicole's to see what's up but unwittingly walks into a murder scene. Therefore, this is a murder that ultimately OJ Simpson is responsible for BUT has unwittingly instigated through the hire of Glen Edward Rogers. However, as soon as the news breaks that both Ron Goldman & Nicole have been found butchered and that OJ Simpson's DNA is to be found all over the place, the scenario & story is so sensational that the police, along with the media and the public all get caught up in the notion that OJ and only OJ Simpson must be the killer. BIG MISTAKE and a huge physiology advantage for both OJ Simpson & his defence team. If the police & the prosecution hadn't have taken such a narrow approach, then OJ Simpson would have been snookered, lock stock & barrel. With the overwhelming evidence against OJ Simpson, the police with the prosecution should have stepped back, taken a deep breath and calmly thought "OK, we know for fact you've visited the crime scene & not reported it. Why is this? Why would one do that, especially given the relationship between the accused & the victim." But both the police & the prosecution got sucked into the sensational aspect that OJ & only OJ Simpson alone could have been the killer. Well IF that's what you THINK, OK. But guest what? Both he and his defence team know that he's NOT entirely innocent, but at the same time he's also NOT the killer. Once again, both he & his defence team know this and this crucial piece of knowledge (more than race, money, celebratory status, etc) played right into their hands. The climax of this strategy was when C.Darden got OJ Simpson to try on the glove(s) the killer wore. From here it was plain sailing, "if it doesn't fit, you must acquit." Guest what? That's EXACTLY what the jury did. They had no other choice because that piece of FACTUAL evidence tipped the balance of the scales in favour of OJ and showed the world that OJ Simpson was NOT the killer. Once again, that's what the police (via there shoddy "police work") and the prosecution set out to prove wasn't it? In a court of law, "words must mean what they say." The FACTUAL evidence was not compatible with accusation and the prosecution's case crumbled & FAILED miserably. But IF the criminal case against OJ Simpson and starting with the initial police work from the L.A.P.D. was more broad and set out to show or prove his involvement and from there, implicating others following up other credible leads, then NOBODY in the world could have successfully defended OJ Simspon. Hence why and as you correctly point out the "lawyer" talk. In my humble opinion, OJ Simpson is not the killer. However, OJ Simpson (quite clearly) is NOT 100% innocent. For the rest of his life and quite clearly, when asked about this event, OJ Simpson must be EXTREMELY careful what he says. Quite clearly we see this throughout this entire interview.

I'm one of the people who thinks the evidence against him is absolutely overwhelming and yes I think he did it but I also think someone helped him in some way...
@22340458 жыл бұрын
Oj murdered ron and Nicole no doubt about it in my opinion.... I've read for hours about this case and ain't nobody telling me that the evidence presented in court wasn't enough to convict him! Oj was a very smart confident charming man also arrogant according to all sources.. let's not forget he was an actor too... The reason he can speak so confidently in this interview Is 2 reasons.. 1 he'd already been acquitted at this point so it doesn't really matter if there's any inconsistencies with what he said previously during the trial.. The interviewer isn't exactly pressing him hard after oj gives his answers etc oj also knows hell never be tried for this murder ever again.. secondly ojs defence main argument for ojs innocence is unreliable dna evidence/ racism etc... So Simpson can pretty much deflect any kind of scrutiny by simply saying the lapd is racist or the dna handlers were incompetent etc this interview really wouldn't be difficult for oj at all... if you watch the civil trial tapes when Simpson Is being pressed by Daniel petrocelli it's a completey different story... Petrocelli hammers Simpson with everything and picks up on every inconsistency... Petrocelli asks Simpson about Nicole's clearly beaten face.. shows him a picture and Simpson says Nicole was wearing makeup... Hes also shown evidence of him wearing those Bruno magli shoes.. Simpson is shown a picture of him wearing the exact shoes that matched the footprints at the murder scene and says there not his shoes haha.....The one thing that pisses me off about this case is that people turned it into a race issue particularly Simpsons defence team ... Shouldn't matter if your black white yellow or green the evidence presented was more than enough to convict Simpson of the crime... The fact that quite alot of black people celebrated because Simpson got off simply because he's black says alot about those people's character... Imagine if Nicole was your mum or imagine ron was your son... How would you feel if Simpson got off despite the overwhelming evidence against him?

i believe him. i have a feeling he was the obvious suspect and most people, "crucial" people have come to that conclusion very quickly and like it is with most things in life once u set urself up on one belief system u dont want anything to shake it, because it would mean you were wrong and spend a part of your life and energy believing in something that is wrong. For some reason that can hurt people on a very basic level. I think a very strange thing happened to this man...with this whole incident...it would seem that there were all these "coincidences" that bring up doubt in his testimony...but they are only looked upon and highlighted as such because there is a predetermined view on the matter. If a person is capable to look at the matter in a truly objective manner these strange coincidences would no longer be perceived as such. The strange thing i mentioned earlier is that all of this has happened to him. It really would seem like life has it in for him. Perhaps this experience is meant to teach him something...to evolve his spirit. In which case he may be considered lucky, if he manages it! :) All this said, i have to admit that my opinion has derived purely from watching this interview and studying the man from it. Many times we become blinded by our external sensors...we get confused by words and get lost in translation...sometimes it is a lot easier to see the truth simply by trying to feel it...when things get so convoluted...to quiet the rational part of your brain and try listening to your inner voice...try and use some of those sixth senses we supposedly have...:P Another thing that most of us forget about ourselves when we look at a person and judge...is that we have far more in common with this person, than we wish to admit. I have never killed anyone but i have a temper...i have had a "few" arguments with people who are close to me...that got me pretty excited...i can loose my cool, my hands begin to shake i raise my voice...i am a woman...a young pleasantly looking one...if i were a strong, big black male with this temper...hmm... If my coworker whom ive had harsh arguments with a few times...got killed and somehow i got tied into the investigation as a potential killer there would be "a lot" of these instances and coincidences and parts of my personality, which other people could testify to, that would seem to support the idea...so it can happen and i believe it does quite often that the truth is not revealed by this system we have set up...a very large chunk is missing...its all fragmented...little bits and pieces of a persons life and character...the system needs work! :) I say this because even though he was acquitted it would seem that the predominant belief of the mass is that he is indeed guilty.

He was a tough cop and even if he did say racist things ( regardless of context) I know many cops ( of varying ethnicity) who talk like that. It's almost like Guerilla or "Street " lingo. By no means am I saying it's right, but that does not a bad cop make. As time progresses, Furhman just sounds more and more credible. I don't understand why the interviewer would make a claim like "O.J. thinks the prosecution and LAPD were out to get him" Well the prosecution has a job. And if they can twist and manipulate anything to win a case, that's what they do. They do that even if they genuinely feel the defense is innocent. As far as the LAPD, well, we know they also need to come up with answers. Otherwise people lose jobs.

I believe one day these videos will be looked at as an important artifact for the study of psychology. He is lying with every breath yet claims everyone else is lying. Yet he won’t come right out and say he was framed or that there was some conspiracy.

luciobarbarino How do you know he is lying? You cant convict someone because you think he is guilty . You have to prove he is guilty beyond a reasonable doubt . That's the law like it or not.

@@christiansoldier77OJ has CTE, for sure. And, we know he’s lying because he’s lied to the detectives, and told a different story in this interview to that interview. He’s a liar.

I am confused as to why Becker aggressively asked OJ an asinine question as to why he felt the police and the prosecution were out to get him! Mr. Simpson should have replied that it was literally a directive of their job duty and mission to move heaven and earth to produce evidence, aggressively prosecute, and convict him for this crime regardless of innocence. I thought Becker conducting a good interview and was being fair and unbiased until I realized he wasn't after he asked that ridiculous question with that tone.

Look at his eyes 00:20 to :0036... When he is in the moment of making up a story he looks into nowhere. Its clear sign of lying and looking for a narrative to come up with.
@jdbblc7 жыл бұрын
Trust me by this point he didn't need to make anything up. He knows what to say he is answering none of these on a wim. So I disagree with the "you can't tell he's making something up by looking st his eyes" at this point he's not creating anything new

We shouldn't forget that actors are professional liers, and it is unbelievable how oj created this alternate universe in which he believes himself to be innocent, yet people forget that it takes a tremendous amount of brain work to lie because yo lie your neurons have to connect many paths to fall into the narrative of the false story, this is why oj finally got caught, he thought he could getaway with crime all over. I hope he never makes it out of jail.

At least 14 cops were on the crime scene when Fuhrman arrived... NONE of them saw TWO gloves. Fuhrman didn't steal a glove and plant it -- he FOUND the glove at Rockingham.
@christiansoldier774 жыл бұрын
Greg Halvorson You sound stupid. An army of cops and forensic people missed the blood on the gate the first time around so unless you want to say they planted the blood on the gate after the fact then it is possible for the first bunch of cops to miss the other glove

Why does O.J Simpson bash Fuhrman when Fuhrman let him walk on an assualt and battery charge, disproving Nicole's one beating. O.J Simpson talks about giving to the community not true. He turned his back on the black community, name a charity or black community he has given money to.

So O.J. believes Fuhrman seeing a bloody glove at a murdered blondes house,THOUGHT of O.J.?Did Fuhrman KNOW it was Nicole Simpson condo when he arrived? 10:05 Mark Fuhrman said he talked to O.J.( he meant Kato) and spent 20 minutes looking around.O.J. said: "It takes you 2/3 minutes 5 tops ,to look around the back of Kato's house".HOW would he KNOW?
