We spent two weeks in Oahu last October and loved every second of it. My husband was born there and lived there some as a kid so it was homecoming for him but for me it was an unexpected joy. I am not a beach person so I did not expect to like it let alone love it. We planned another 10 days visit next year. I don't know how you were able to enjoy it in 4 days. It took me that long to get over the jet lag. I enjoyed your video very much as we avoided Honolulu and spent our days mostly in the North Sh ore (heaven). We didn't want to do the touristy things and wanted to hang with the locals and go with the flow. The food was fantastic all over the island. Try picking up some treats from a Seven Eleven. Try their manapua. So good! Anyway, thanks for the video. Can't wait to go back!

I will be traveling to Oahu next week and your video gave me an idea of what the drive will look like going up the Windward side of the island to the North Shore. Thanks so much for this very well made video! We are going to Oahu Jan 15-22, and actually staying at the Imperial, too. A few questions: 1. Did you bring your own bogey boards? I only ask because when we went to Maui, our room had 1 for us to use. Also beach chairs and towels. Were these provided by the hotel? 2. Is this property right by the beach? I’m handicapped, walking is a challenge so also wondering how far we have to walk to get to the beach. Thank you so very much for any input! Glad you guys had an amazing time.
