UPDATE: Hi everyone! The apartment that we signed a lease with was FORMA apartments. We pulled our lease to move near our parents and friends in SoCal, so I decided to add the link to Forma. The apartment did not come with parking for one bedrooms (they have limited parking spots for 2 bedrooms), but the cleanliness & amenities of the building was worth signing a lease. Also keep in mind that apartments constantly change the price and availability. I hope this video helps anyone looking for a place in Oakland:)

I shot photo and video of both Lydian and the building you ultimately chose. Definitely some of the betting buildings to choose from in Oakland. I love the interior design and the lobby's are stunning!

Nice video. My SO and I are moving up to Oakland from SoCal this month too; did the crime around the area deter you guys any?

Thank you! We actually moved back to SoCal last month because we wanted to be near our parents. Oakland has a lot of places to check out, I recommend going to first Friday to get to know the community! Also would recommend Lake Merritt to go on a jog/date with your SO:) Oakland has a lot of car break ins, so I wouldn't recommend parking your car on the streets. Other than that, I didn't experience anything crazy during the day, I hope this helps:) Wish you the best in Oakland!

Hello! Thanks so much for your video! I have toured a couple of apartments in uptown, and I have narrowed it down quite a bit and am leaning toward the building you decided on. Reviews for this building are so hard to find right now, so I was wondering if you would be willing to provide me with any pros and cons you have experienced since moving in? Anything unexpected? Thanks so much!

Hi!:) we actually haven't moved in yet, but we'll be moving in next month and I'll post apartment tour video once we settle in! Based on in-person tour, the apartment amenities were best we've seen out of all the apts in Oakland and the units look spacious bc of the large windows. Everything was modern and had chic vibes! I hope this helps☺️

I’m moving to Oakland and been looking for apartments! I was wondering if you were willing to share the original apartment you were in before looking to move?? Really liked the layout of that one!
