Genius way to implement gyre flow! I see a nice wood shrimp filter feeding on that too rock.

Do you think it would work to use the space in the back AS the filter? or would that restrict the flow too much?

Yes maybe some biology filter media on the bottom of the flow chamber

HI Oliver, thank you for sharing your work. It's a pleasure for my eyes... I would like to ask you honest opinion about the biomaster 850 thermo. It is noisy? I need something with this capacity but silent my room is very silent and i like to keep it like that. The cabinet is not the best. Currently my filter is eheim 2275. Oase pre-filter is a must. Thank you
