I’m really loving the point your aquarium is at right now George! The discus were beautiful along with the scape, but this is more what I enjoy from you! I recently added some slower growing plants to my background to eliminate the amount of stems and trimming each week after seeing you do it and I’m so glad I did. Really enjoying the changes and the easier maintenance

It’s really looking awesome George! Not going to lie, I’m a fan of the limnophilia hipporoides you used to have in the middle, but this looks great to! Those blueberry tetras are beautiful! And the hatchet fish are cool! Hope all is well and keep up the great content mate!

Love watching this tank change and develop over time. Outstanding piece George. I still am not crazy about the skimmer and distracting the view. To each his own though.

Regarding evaporation, lids are great to control evaporation. For those who enjoy a more open top style there’s also glass lids that also do the job well while keeping the top more open in design. 👍

George, I also run a Twinstar II under the hood of my tank. I find that by reducing the intensity to 75% the heat of the light in an enclosed space is significantly reduced. Also, if you want to reduce the micro CO2 bubles from entering the tank then you can experiment with a much longer inlet pipe - say 2 m - laid behind the tank and then entering by the normal route. And i have sword envy! N

Never seen blueberry tetras here in the US. I've tried to source them, where I go for fish they've never heard of them. The aquarium hobby is so superior in Europe as compared to the US. Tank looks really nice!

Would you know what the crypts on the right hand side are? The ones with the pattern on the leaves? Are those mature C. x purpurea by chance? And is there a Lagenandra in the midground, right of center? Which variety is that one? They are all really lovely!

Hi! I’ve got a 400 highline, 850 filter, looking to add another 850, how is it best to run? Y piece off the tank outlet and 2 inlet pipes or can you run them both inline. Or 2 inlets 2 outlets 😂😂 also looking to run uv steriliser. thanks in advance for the help!

Here's a question George, do you find that large plants are considerably less affected by all kinds of algae ? Love the hatchet fish, the biggest perk of covered tanks are these beautiful jumpy fish!
