Another great song Rob. The main guy in the video, Rhys Ifans is an actor but was once in another great indie band of the 90's called Super Furry Animals, they're well worth a look too.

I have enjoyed your reactions to The Smiths. I'd love to have you react to Joy Division's debut album "Unknown Pleasures" or perhaps just the debut track on that album, "Disorder." It's a Manchester band like The Smiths although Joy Division came out with their first album 5 years prior to The Smiths. If you are feeling extra adventurous you should do the track Disorder and then Love Will Tear Us Apart, which is a single released post-humously. The contrast in style and delivery is staggering, yet the mood somehow remains the same.

Not heard that in ages. I do hope you watched it again as you seemed so into the music, with your eyes closed and letting it wash over you that missed a lot of the video and it's such a great video.

Hey, Robk! I recommend you listen to The Verve's Bittersweet Symphony, please. Not many music reactors have listened to it, and the music video is really satistfying to watch. And if you're interested, another great song by Oasis is Columbia. It's kind of like shoegaze. :)

Give the band Freedom Hawk -"Solid Gold" a try. Not a popular band (not even 2,300 views), but has a kick ass groove, mixed beautifully, and "solid" lyrics. Unheard of bands need loving too.

Ringos son Zak played drums on this I believe. Incredible drumming and sound. One of my all time fav oasis songs. Nicked slightly from the Kinks Dead End St but meh, who cares it compliments it fantastically!

Oasis DBTT album is the gem that is rarely mined. Unlike DM and WTSMG, this is a cohesive album that doesn’t rely on singles per say but a vibe...a thread that shucks off the yolk of that Beatles by the numbers chart hit and going for more style and some Velvet Underground and Stranglers influences. It’s right up there with Their first two releases.
