Was there ! Fantastic to watch it back. I A great band at their zenith. Untouchable. The atmosphere before they came on was incredible. The legends on the screen during Live Forever & the madness of Walrus are highlights I will never forget.

The way Liam almost took out Whitey's rack tom/crash stand as well (3:47, sadly unseen - comes back for a bit more at 4:06), not to mention the hat and overhead mics. You can see the crew attempting to put it back between all the jump cuts.

I doubt it. These guys steamrolled all the nuances of the song and bashed through it. Poetic justice that John wrote it as a jibe to all the lyric-sleuths out there. "Let the fuckers work this one out" he said about it. It was an ironic nonsense song--Oasis made themselves an ironic nonsense band doing it like this (and much of their other stuff) and the irony clearly lost on them.

I don't know what performance could be better than THIS! Common, let's put it all together on paper. 1. Oasis performing their own fucking version of the Beatles songs, which is way better than the original is. 2. Oasis and Liam are at their peak and did the best performance of this song, with the orchestra. 3. With the John Squire on stage and in the fucking KNEBWORTH. Goosebumps from the video.🤯
