Parkinson really was a genius, the best interviewer of all time. He ever so slightly steers Noel into talking about his upbringing, specifically about how he was physically abused by his father, and nobody, not even Noel, realises it and is just going along with it. Noel only realises what he's talking about when he is specifically asked about how he was beaten as a child, and he clearly remembers it, and that's when he realises he has to make a joke and turn the tide of the interview. I really miss Parkinson, when you really used to find about these famous people, what they were like, what made and inspired them. Nowadays every interview show, Graham Norton, Johnathan Ross, its all just comedy and try to make it funny. There's a real gap in the market for something like this.
@marjanp4784 Жыл бұрын
I like it that he doesn't like to moan about his childhood experience. He's very optimistic and positive about life and everything. A lot of famous people love to whine all the time saying how miserable their lives are and how they're suffering from literally everything despite being rich and successful. They don't even know what a truly miserable life is, or how regular people really struggle to make ends meet...
@TheDon1012775 жыл бұрын
Gotta love Noel Gallagher and how he doesn't beat around the bush and simply says it like it is. Even in the company of great celebrities he's able to handle the situation like a pro. Even as Rod talks about the R.Brand episode he doesn't sit back as others would he tells him R.Brand is a good friend. Basically Noel hasn't changed and stayed a Northerner thru & thru.
