Hey guys today I'm looking at the Oban Little Bay. This is a NAS whisky that's seen a final maturation in "small casks." I'll let you know my thoughts. Cheers!

Could be a dud bottle. I've had other bottles of this that I enjoyed. But yeah it's a risky proposition. Cheers!

Hi from Scotland..👋. Enjoyed your review. Oban 14 is not a favourite among many whisky people. The little bay is around 7/8 years old. It is a better dram than the 14.. but it doesn’t have a lot going for it. Slainte mhath 🥃🥃🥃. If your looking for requests, I’d love your opinions on “Glen Scotia 15yr, and Loch Lomond 12. See what you think 🤔👍

Thanks! Oban is a brand where I can appreciate how distinctive it is, but it's never really been “my style,” although I have friends that love it. Glen Scotia 15, eh? I have been eying that one at my local shop...

Enlightening! I lucked into the Oban Special Release, which I know you love. Which bottle would be the best companion? I have easy access to the whole range: 14, 14DE, 18, and LB, just not sure which to choose… I feel like here they are all 43%

Personally I'd say the 18 because that's the only one I haven't tried and i hear its amazing. Otherwise, you can't go wrong with the old 14 imo, its a classic. That being said, they recently hiked up the price so I'd only recommend if if you can still get a good price on it. 🥃
