I love how those real world elements combine to make this saber, probably my favorite SW saber and Obi Wan's up there as one of my favorite characters,keep up these awesome videos!

Nice hilt. I always like Obi-Wans hilt from ANH................which is probably why I have 6 of them from different Saber Smiths. I particularly like the OBI4 from Ultimate Works, but that thing weighs about 3 lbs. and is tiring to swing around for any length of time. Interestingly, the chassis from 89sabers uses the same connector that UW uses, but I haven't tested to see if the chassis can be swapped between the 2.

Would you recommend the 89sabers obi episode 4 or 3.5 kenobi series. Design wise i love both, im more curious on the specs/performance side by comparison to help me make my choice. (Also looking at korbanths versions of the same)

Bro, 89sabers is my go to for screen accurate sabers. I have the weathered version of the Obi-Wan ep4 hilt. It is heavy, but its freaking awesome! Mine came with 40 fonts.

@TheCollectorsOutpost Absolutely, not inexpensive, but they're the best sabers in my collection. I've got Anakin ep2, Obi-Wan ep3 and ep4, Luke ep4, Luke ROTJ hero V1 and Luke V2 weathered and Darth Vader ep4 hilts. Not to mention the many LGT and TXQ sabers I've acquired to the wife's dismay.

Well the EP4 is the OG KENOBI saber waaaaaaaay before we ever see ep3. And it was made of all real world parts they found at the time and not just made in the prop shop.

Is the blade lose? Like I've heard that since it's a thin-neck saber the blade can get wobbly and unstable at times but is that actually true? Also, does the 89sabers box come included alongside the carrying case as promised in their website? I just wanna show off to my friends that I have an 89sabers lightsaber, that's all 😅I also want to know if a lightsaber-stand comes with it as it isn't specified on any of the lightsabers on their website

Everything comes with it but my blade. Yes thin necks can have wobble blades depending on the blade depth and thickness of the blade. My blades are in tight as they are costed blade and had to be sanded down just a bit to even fit in.

My head will explode... I've been looking for an Obi Wan Kenobi saber for 2 weeks to give myself as a treat on my 40th anniversary. I would never have imagined that there would be so many different brands and models and spending half my salary on something I can't examine first worries me. Why are there engraved letters on the OB4 model (GRAFLEX) when Obi Wan's original saber has nothing? Why not stick to the original? Which version is better? V3.9 of OB3.5? Or V2.2 of OB4? It is comfortable? Or maybe the OB1 has a better grip? Of course I'm going to say it... 😆 Help me Obi-Wan Kenobi, you are my only hope.

Probably a dumb question.. but doesn't seem to be answered anywhere.. but if you buy a proffie saber, does it do all these functions straight out the box? Or do you have to download and install it all yourself?

Only one I have had problems with is SNv4 sabers with a Tri-Star blade but I’m guessing this will be the same problem.

The weathering video for the kENOBI I did last year I pulled down due to the disrespect of my content from the company I bought it from (Tatooine lightsabers) at some point I’ll see if I can get another one and do a new weather in Video for it.

There is one feature that I would have in my lightsaber if I had one and that is to control it with my smartphone. Do you have any lightsabers that you control it with your smartphone?

Most of my sabers are controlled with the phone. Anything Xeno v3 or SNv4 all have apps

So what exactly is the benefit to adding a $500 blade?

It’s a bit brighter and has 4 strips of LEDs rather than the normal 2 strips. Is it needed? No. Would some want it to simply have it as a nice novelty blade that has 500LEDs inside? Yeah. If you have the extra cash why not.
