I recently bought an Obi Wan Neopixel saber and it’s awesome. It was also a good amount of money but it does what it needs, it’s also kinda lightweight

Nice review... Correction though, the first lightsaber you hear ignite is Anakin's in Obiwan's hut when he gives it to Luke.

I don’t see a comment on this and maybe its not relevant anymore, but this same saber absolutely can come with a bottom mounted speaker. The one I have, exact same hilt, is installed with a removable chasis and speaker under the pommel.

Always good to hear from you Obi-dad. Yeah, the Artsabers(LGT) was my first high end saber, I had mine installed with the current Proffie. Once I saw the 89sabers version I was a little bummed, but the Artsabers(LGT) version was close enough. I do like the quality of the 89sabers, but their not cheap. I also have the 89 Anakin ep2 and 89sabers Obi-Wan ep3 saber. But you and I seem to have similar tastes for the higher end stuff. For sure I spin mine inside or out in the back yard, but would never dual with a saber that cost that much. See ya on the next video. Also, you said you had a story for me about your Luke graflex w/ the bubble strip on the other side. Keep the reviews coming, I think their great.

I have a version one of that saber by 89. The blade depth is more shallow and there was only one set screw, until I made another. I love to use all my sabers as much as possible, except that one. Most of its edges are a little too sharp and the control box definitely gets in the way. It is a weird speaker placement. Mine is near the Pommel. There’s also volume factor such as what soundboard you use and speaker? If yours doesn’t already have it? Put in a smugglers outpost speaker, and you should get better sound.

So I’ve been considering an obi wan saber and in your honest opinion which saber would you say is better at least quality or cost wise? To me it looks like Artsabers might be for the win

I would take one of the cheap plastic sabers and duel, the neopixel ones I would keep for display.

That’s a smart move man, although the reason why I found Artsabers is because they advertised being strong enough for play fighting. Gotta stay in your comfort zone though. 👍🏻

This was a great video. I love your reviews of all the different types of Lightsabers. I have a question, I have the Obi-Wan Kenobi KS (Kenobi Series) Lightsaber, and I can't figure out how to remove the core? I am able to gain access to the charging port, but that is it. Would you or anyone here know how to remove the core? Thanks!

the speaker is in the middle? Strange. I only seen that a few times and don’t understand why anyone would put sound in a place your hands may be covering. I have the same sound problem with a new Obi Wan saber I got from artsabers. Max volume and I’m like, is it on? Love the hilt but unhappy with sound. Great review buddy!

Hey outpost! Thanks so much for stopping by. I saw on your IG you were having some Saber troubles, really sorry to hear that man. Trouble with the volume? Try popping in the SD card and somewhere in the parameters file try putting the volume at 6000 if it isn’t already. I think that is the max setting. One of my sabers I actually knocked down to 4000 because it sounded… blah. Lol
