This Oblique Stance Landmine Press is a great way to get your shoulder blades and your rib cage working together to give you more SHOULDER MOBILITY long term for less pain and faster progress!
The focus of this drill is to give you a safer way to start pressing overhead, building up the supporting musculature of your shoulders, allowing you to isolate your shoulders for more strength and muscle building!
The oblique press helps you:
👉🏼 Learn how to move your shoulder blades more when pressing, taking pressure off of your traps and using the delts more.
👉🏼 The wide stance and arm position allows for more room to move (external rotation), giving you a more comfortable starting position.
👉🏼 The oblique set up (45º to the bar), allows you to find a better stack, engaging your obliques more for better full body awareness, connectivity, strength, and stability in other more intense drills.
👉🏼 With full foot contacts, you'll develop a better sense up the chain, from your hips and ribs through your shoulders, which will carry over to your other exercises in your session, immediately giving you more body awareness, mobility, and strength through hips, ribs, and shoulder blades that are much more connected and working together!
