I love how in oblivion no matter who you follow in the wilderness it all just diverges into someone running for there lives from 6 different things trying to kill them.

For me Oblivion is the best of the elder scrolls. It just pure gold. For those younger than me its skyrim and those older its morrowind. But dayum for me oblivion is like not only best elder scrolls but best game of all time (with mods ofc)

He went there because whilst you were following him, creatures attacked so instead of staying en route to Leyawiin he ran away from the creatures.

He's actually heading towards Leyawein(I think that's how it's spelled). If you look at a map(a real world physical map of Cyrodiil) you'll see that his course takes him towards there.

Ok here is the deal. M'aiq was made as an easter egg by bethesda to tell what they left out of the game. He was in Morrowind, he is in Oblivion and in Skyrim. I saw somebody commet that M'aiq tells that alot in his familyr also had the name M'aiq, so maybe thats why you see him in the different games. Note: If he talks about werewolves, bethesda thought about adding werewolves. In the start of this video, you hear him talk about destroying buildings, so maybe that was one of their ideas.

Skyrim takes place 200 years after Oblivion. It couldn't be the same one. On the other side of the Pirid River is Elsweyr, The Kajiit province,

They should have given him an abandoned fort he goes too and if you follow him there he will give you a quest. I hope Maiq is back in Skyrim.

I wish we would know where he travels to. Possibly Skyrim if we meet him there. Actually mysterious characters like these are awesome, I'd like more of such and other secrets or easter eggs in elder scrolls games!

You can become a werewolf in Skyrim with the companions questline.

The reason he goes out of the map is because he got to go to Morrowind to see if they got the Colovian Fur Helmet XD

@999deaths If your talking about the Dev-console, that is not what i meant, i meant something to ALLOW you to kill someone WITHOUT the console or mods... In PC version there is a configuration file, that you can edit and any essential will no longer go unconscious and actually die, you also have to edit the configuration file to keep your game from reloading when they do die... That is NOT a cheat, it's simply changing a setting similar to changing the in-game settings...

yea he talked about crossbows in oblivion too "people want thease special bows that take too long to relaod and need special things called bolts!"

Maiq went through that bit to get to elswyr. When I tried to follow maiq he died cos he fell off of a cliff

I was playing Oblivion on Xbox One X and was on my way to *Brina Cross Inn* and he full on sprinted right past me and down the road I couldn’t even attempt at keeping up and my speed stat is *69* so I wonder what his speed stat is normally
