thank you so much for the tips i’ve been playing oboe for 2 years and i just can’t seem to cleanly articulate the low low notes lol turns out i had bad reed (factory mades really aren’t good 😓) so i got a new one from a small company my oboe teacher recommended and it works wonderfully!

Thanks very much I have been playing the flute for a long time & I have a Oboe Book 1 & decided to save up for a Oboe & trying to study the book,so your lessons are helping me learn the oboe until my teacher comes back to the music 🎵 store to resume his teaching. He is not working there due to the coronavirus 💉 pandemic. So I am studying the book & listening 🎧 your teaching about the oboe & it's very helpful. I have been playing the flute for 14 year's & I am interested in taking oboe lessons.

Just found this channel, but I already love it! :) Could You make a video with f# issue (g to f# is ok, but e to f# is way too low) or with a5 too high? I am a begginer so don't know it is my fault or maybe an old instrument ;)

i have an ak lorre, my d and eflat all play as the 3rd octive and the e's are really really muffled and sharp but when i disconnect the middle joint they all play fine. any sloutions you know of?

Hello, I’m a new subscriber :) Thank you for all your videos. I really struggle when songs are in A flat major. I cannot switch from playing low c to d flat to e flat. I haven’t had any formal training with the Oboe, so any help, I’d truly appreciate it!

I have a problem. Before I play the low note, I start with a high note than the low note. For example when I play c I end up blowing a high C then the low C comes out. Pls helo
