Almost 2 years late, but try the hinge method. Use a piece of masking tape top and bottom in the centre to hold the decal in place, then apply half at a time. Working vertically means you aren't working against the curve of the bucket. Im a signwriter so believe me, this way is much easier. Search youtube for decal hinge method

The red wheels on the blue wash bucket and the black wheels bucket is killing my OCD right now.

I bought them from Grit Guard. Maybe I should start searching for a source to get different colors.

Instead of having to change the 3" wheels out because they hit each other just buy a piece of plate aluminum that is a bit larger/wider. This should set the buckets an inch or two farther away from each other, solving the annoying problem. Just a thought, but i think it would work.

The only problem with the RODE mic is that it's directional, so when you move to the sides of the mic your voice tends to fade a bit. Sounds great at this angle though!

looking good Matt! you could always spray down soapy water before putting down the vinyl. squeegee out the bubbles and move around the vinyl

This was my first run with Canon 80D and Rode Shotgun Mic. I still prefer using my Sennheiser wireless lav after watching this back. The 80D is so much easier to use than my C100MKII.
