Hello, I have a question, when I try to render the ocean in "render frame range" it doesn't appear that anything is being generated, I don't know what I can do in that case. Because manually rendering frame by frame is very time consuming.

Please check your output path may be do something work in output path because if its coming in single frame then its have to come in frame range as well. At the end on you path has this type of.$OS.$F4.exr like this

I tried multiple time with H20, Its not rendering those materials with XPU, it works with cpu though

What you can do you can use houdini ocean node in solaris just give your surface and spectrum to it, it will render by its own

@@fxguruofficial I was rendering a waterfall scene and i wanted use these nodes to make the water look deep, as there no proper materials pre build for karma yet, but thanks bro.

I don't know what version of houdini you are working with but in version 19.5 in the preview, I can see the ocean, but when I hit render, I get this error in the console Invalid material binding: /sopimport1/mesh_0 -> /materials/oceansurface

Solved, you forgot to mention that this configuration that you gave us only works with CPU, and one last thing, as we smoothed the geometry, I made a 50 x 50 grid and raised the subdivisions to 200x200, but the mesh keeps coming out smooth

@@rstudiosvfx its not the working on subdivision you have to increase the quality in ocean spectrum then re cache it and use. Hope it will help

bro when i convert the karma cpu to xpu the texture is not showing but in cpu render its showing. what should i do to this problem.

it is only work with cpu engine you have to use XPU shader like material X shader for XPU render
