This is an oceanfront king bungalow with a jacuzzi at Hana Maui Resort. I have another similar video of an oceanfront king bungalow at Hana Maui, but they are different! There are only four of these rooms with a jacuzzi and they also have some updates done that the other bungalows do not.

The beautiful Hana Maui Resort has several bungalow types, including renovated bungalows, bungalows with jacuzzis, and more, along with Garden Suites. The Hana-Maui Resort was built in 1947 and added to (more than doubling its size) in 1984. It has a charming “old Hawaii” feel. The suites and bungalows are large, with the bungalows being over 800 square feet.
This resort is in Hana, as in the “Road to Hana,” so it’s very isolated on the eastern side of Maui. It’s hard to beat those east-side sunrises! The remoteness of the location and small-town feel will make you either love or hate it, but we personally loved it and hated leaving! Next time, we’re staying longer! One more mention is that the food - while menus are limited - is excellent!
Why stay at Hana-Maui Resort?
The Hana-Maui Resort is not for everyone! If you're looking for a more lively resort with plenty of dining options, lots of activities, and late-night activities, the Hana-Maui Resort is NOT for you. If you want more of that, I recommend something like the Hyatt Regency Maui, and I have a video of that too!
However, if you love a laid-back vibe, enjoy the quiet, and want to get away from the craziness of home or the craziness of traveling, Hana-Maui may be the perfect choice.
We did see children at the Hana-Maui resort, mostly very young kids. Overall, there were far more adults and it was a much quieter resort than most places to stay in Maui. I'd really have to know more about your family in order to know if it would be a good fit because some kids will love it, and some won’t!
I always recommend working with a Travel Agent because I discuss these things with you to ensure that wherever you're staying is the right fit for you. Plus, I've been to almost all of the resorts and hotels in Hawaii myself!
