If you're staying at a prime or above you can pool hop on any universal pool. As for the boats if you're staying at universal they will let you on the river taxi. I was there last year during hhn.

@@brysonanthamatten2205 yes! That’s correct. You can pool hop at any resort other than Endless Summer. You can ride the water taxis even if you aren’t staying, no one really asks!

Perhaps not the intention but it's always good to remember that you're talking to a real person when you comment online. Regardless, more videos are on the way with the best carry-on luggage as I have been trying a few different things lately and have found a few that I really like!

Best way to stay cool there is don't go there. Waste of money. I have lived an hour away from Orlando since 1975 and can count on one hand how many times I have been there. Not worth the cost in my opinion.

YES, you can get drinks delivered to the swim-up pool! They have people who do that starting around 10 AM. If you tip them well, they will come back often. :)

We read that it was beach, but did also see that you may get a pool cabana already reserved as well. We weren't sure which was correct. Also wanted to see if the Swim-up came with any of those benefits as well. Any feedback would be much appreciated. Thanks!

@@TomFarrell-yn6sb hey Tom! Just the beach cabanas but it’s for both swim-up and presidential! It’s not too hard to get a pool cabana if you’re up semi-early. Definitely reach out if you decide to go!! I can help with all your reservations that you need, etc before you go so you can just show up and relax.

Yes. All of the rooms EXCEPT the renovated rooms have that weird shower window. I'm not a fan of it. 😂

@@ItsSylviiOnTwitch it looks out but you see in the room, then past the room you can have an ocean view. It’s a weird setup. The renovated rooms don’t have it.

I was there with a company function in 1989. About a hundred of us, and the hotel put us up in this suite for a few hours until we could get to the airport to fly home. I just remember the views, but not really the room. They told us that some celebrity (don't remember anymore) was booked for a week or something the next day. The Westin at Kaanapali is a beautiful place. Horrible to think what those fires did to the area last year.

Greatly appreciate your review of both the Presidential Suite and Swim Up Suite. My only concern with the Swim Up suite is the lack of sunlight in the private pool area, which it looks like from the videos, that could be diminished. Any thoughts or perspectives you have on that would be greatly appreciated!

You do lose the sun in the swim-ups before the main pool, but it’s typically sunny from morning until mid-afternoon so still a good part of the day!

We did go ahead and book it directly through Hyatt as we are World of Hyatt members and I didn't see any other sites that had it less expensive (because it wasn't inexpensive! ;) ). We actually stayed at the property back in 2009 when it was the Royal so we're excited to return (to celebrate our 22nd anniversary!). Given that so much time had passed since we last visited, your video reviews were immensely helpful in the overall evaluation! BTW--I'm flagging you for our future travels as I've realized it's far easier to utilize someone like yourself than spend 12+ hours planning a trip like this on my own!

Is the resort family-friendly? Yes! I just posted a full review of it. The historical park is also family-frendly. Lots of people take their kids down to Pololu Valley, but I wouldn't. There are easier to access black sand beaches and more kid-friendly hikes than this one.

@@AventurasDeMishi for this one, I wasn’t staying just touring it. Im a travel agent so sometimes I film rooms I’m not staying in. I have stayed in one of the others and have videos of all 3 plus the updated presidential. It was offered at check-in. I’ve requested for a client before and they got it!

All-inclusive means dining and drinks are included. Some resorts have speciality restaurants that are not included, but typically just one. For this one, Chefs plate is only included for upper level room categories. Otherwise, all restaurants and food are included and they have 24/7 room service so you can eat any time!

thanks for letting me know! I believe the 2-bedrooms at Endless Summer have only doubles, so that's probably the mix-up. At home we have a king so doubles and queens don't seem that different!

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Secrets are definitely some of the better resorts but yes, many upper level resorts have similar amenities.

Depending on the resort, yes! Of course you don’t just leave it all day, that would be rude. Only take one if you intend to use it. Some have policies to remove items after an hour or two but that typically happens later in the day.

Water shoes for sharp coral on the beach! Also reef safe insect repellent (it's a jungle) :)

Yes to the clean insect repellent! Not an issue in the hotel zone but you’ll need it in Playa del Carmen, Puero Morelos, etc! Also good tip for the water shoes. Just make sure to not step on coral IN the water because you’ll damage it! I never wear them on the beach but it would be smart! I wear Teva sandals.
