If they did the first team second team all stars like years past. It would be: scrap, Simp, Hydra, Cellium. Then Dashy, Shotzzy, Cleanx, Drazah. Shotzzy is easily a top 4 player this year, and it would be tempting to put Dashy in team A just because he does all the dirty work and still puts up good numbers, but his S&D clutches clears everyone else.

MVP - Most Valuable Player (Doesn't mean best player necessarily)... You take Simp off of Faze and put a average CDL pro in his spot... They probably still win 1/4 Tourneys. You take Hydra off Subliners and they do not win anything. You take Scrap off of Ultra and they don't win either. Value to their team it would be Hydra/Scrap as Sub/AR impact. I would give it top hydra for his dmg/10, engagements and still having a high KD. Also being an impact sub is probably more important than an AR. Simp is gross but his team is also full of superstars so it's easier to excel when everything is going good. Hydra and Scrap make the game go good for their teammates.

He and simp have the same overall K/D, but Hydra averages more Kills per 10 in HP and Control than every player in the league, he has the second most damage per 10 in the entire league in HP and 3rd most in control, he averages more engagements per 10 in Hp and Control than every other player in the league, and he has the highest slayer rating in the league, also has nearly 160 more kills on the season than the next highest in scrap! Without Hydra NYSL doesn’t make a Sunday probably all year and the same goes for Ultra without Scrap, the only team that still probably has the talent on this game to make Sunday’s consistently without their respective MVP candidate is FaZe because they have the better other 3 than NYSL and Ultra!

It's too early to name an MVP. The top 3 teams all have a guy worthy of it so what happens at Champs should determine. If Faze wins champs, Simp is MVP. If Toronto wins champs, Scrap is the MVP. If NYSL wins champs, HyDra is the MVP. My team of the year is Simp, Scrap, HyDra, and Dashy. Those clutches that Dashy pulled off to win major 3 can't be overlooked.

My issue with Drazah on team of the year is he seems to shrink as the moments get larger, especially against Scrap. Meanwhile Dashy steps up as the moments get larger. I am the biggest Cellium detractor of all of COD fandom, I think he is far too passive and doesn't take enough engagements to be considered elite. When you only find a fight when you have an advantage because you're protecting your KD that doesn't make you elite.

It’s simple. Take scrappy off of ultra and they are a top 8 team maybe? Take simp off faze and they are still top 4.

@@RevolutMe scrappy has been a 99 every major except like 1? When you’re trying to argue against him for MVP your argument can’t just be “well Simps on the best team”. So cherry picking Scrappy is definitely the one that deserves it. And I would argue you’re just wrong anyway. Without hydra is NY a top 4 team? Maybeeee? What about optic without shotzzy.. again maybe? We can definitely say faze would still be top 4

I’m not using it as an argument for simp/against scrappy, simply alluding to the fallacy in your argument. Your point that taking hydra off NYSL and Shotzzy off optic would leave them both being top 4 is wrong in my opinion, not to mention completely hypothetical. Using some hypothetical scenario of the teams without said mvp candidate is a weak one.

Dashy 1v3 wasnt a true 1v3, 1st off, and i just dont think that play was better than a few others in my opinion. Just think about it, when he killed Cell, it wasnt a omg how he got that kill. It was more of a, why did MC chall? So for that reason i dont believe he gets it. But thats just me. But of course all optic fans including Rab will justify it

I agree with octanes take on MVP. Should be most valuable player for their team, not the best overall player. Using that, Hydra is far and away the most valuable player for his team as simp is on stacked to shit faze
