It's been a while since my last video, and having been away from the Octatrack myself for quite sometime, I think it's helpful to go over some fundamental ideas behind how the Octatrack works. I've noticed that these kinds of technical concepts end up deciding on a subconscious level whether I'll pick up the Octatrack on a whim, so understanding them can go a long way in your creative process.
So! To begin with, I'm going over all the ways you can affect volume, level, and gain. Hopefully understanding these different methods will help streamline your workflow, and keep you from spending needless time troubleshooting or menu diving :)
