כששמעתי לראשונה שישראל מחוייבת לשנות את המילים כדי להשתתף באירוויזיון, כעסתי.
ולמרות שהתקבלה ההחלטה הנכונה ואנחנו נעמוד על הבמה , לא היינו אמורים לעדן את הכאב והתופת שרצינו להעביר לעולם בשיר.
לא יכלתי לשתוק והחלטתי ליצור גרסה עם המילים המקוריות של השיר שהוגש ולא התקבל לאירוויזיון -OCTOBER RAIN.
אסור לנו לתת לעולם לצנזר אותנו.
היום נציין 180 יום שהחטופים הישראלים עדיין בשבי החמאס, הלב שלנו נשבר בתור מדינה. לעולם לא נשכח אותם, ונעשה הכל כדי להחזיר אותם.

I can not even begin to imagine the pain the families of the hostages are going through. Just know that there are Muslims who volunteer to enlist in the Israeli army and they fight shoulder to shoulder in Gaza against Hamas, and even some of them were killed and seriously injured. God- I didn’t think I was in the mood to cry but then I saw all of these amazing supportive people in the comments and it fills me with such hope- I’m fully Jewish and made aliyah this year before the war started. 10/7 was unexpected and a horrific loss and it really felt like the whole world was against us.
