Cut the octopus into bite-sized pieces and put it into a salad dressing with chilies - that was something that I found interesting in Yangon.
It was a busy street near Hledan Center Mall when I was walking past through some roadside stalls. I was eager to find a stall that sells Octopus Salad/Paste. I had to walk quite a distance before I landed into that stall, which I was searching for. The prices were different for each seafood salad item. I chose the Octopus Salad, which was quite tender and chewy.
You can eat the salad alone for $1.08.
Other items were crabs and shrimps.
Many people come to eat this salad and the place is usually more crowded in the evening when the normal office time is over.
Yangon City is quite alive these days. And by that, it means you will find a lot of things going on around there. The Hledan Center Mall area is quite crowded, and today, they even had a robot called Optimus Prime just outside the mall, which was quite a coincidence with the Octopus Salad that I was searching for.
