I got two 64gb models so my husband and I can finally be in the metaverse together and be weird characters in VRchat and also show him more of my rooms that I made in Rec Room! Truly an amazing time to be alive man. Be proud of your headsets Quest heads! This is the start of VR moving forward becoming mainstream.

The Quest looks amazing but I'm hoping in the near future to see a headset that works like the Quest as a standalone but can also work wirelessly with a pc for more powerful vr.

Are you sure about Rift S controllers not working with Quest. I seem to recall that they've mentioned that it's the exact same controller and RiftS/Quest controllers would be interchangeable.

When I first heard of the Oculus Quest I was very excited and actually wanted to buy one. Then I realised that I can't play my already owned Steam VR games. Probably because it runs on Android. Also, since it doesn't have USB, I won't be able to play my racing or flight sims in VR. In my opinion, The Quest is for people looking for simple games and easy games with a lower perfomance. I hope VR will be more accessible for the audience this way. I currently own a Vive and thinking of upgrading to the Valve Index VR kit.

What's the length of the headset from front to back with the straps pushed in as far as they go? Wondering if this will fit in he case I had used for my Go since the Quest straps are stiff on the sidee

CORRECTION: The sunlight does NOT damage the lenses themselves. It damages the SCREENS inside the headset. The lenses act the same as a magnifying glass. So if you put sunlight through a magnifying glass you will literally burn the inside screens. The lens will be undamaged but your screens will be screwed for good.

Do you have any idea what games come with the quest? When they shipped the touch controllers we had games like Robo Recall free of charge. I am wondering if they are doing something similar with the quest.

I pre-ordered the 128 GB version, can never have too much space!! Any concerns about it shipping out in batches, a la the Rift? I thought Zuckerberg said during the F8 keynote yesterday that the Quest "starts shipping" May 21st....I'm pretty certain that I pre-ordered it from Amazon within 15-20 minutes after it went live so hopefully I will get it soon!
