I never met odb ,never seen him in concert but the day he died, shucks i was more sad than i though i would be. There was just something there in his persona that he showed on screen that made you think this guy is a genius. He had such amazing talent and such charisma. Alot of artists have to try and be crazy try and be funny try and be smart, but all these things just seemed natural for him.Truly he was one of the great entertainers and judging from what I have seen of him on interviews and interviews people have given about him, he was a great person.

In my ex-class we had to do a project about an idol, most of the people in my class did their about some garbage artist, i was proud to do mine about ODB.

We need more people like ODB

The tears in his eyes makes me so sad. But there's really no telling. I hope he's been finally able to heal after all these years. It's so easy to carry guilt, but it's harder to let go and accept things for what it is. RIP ODB.

It shouldn't have went down like that cause Buddha Monk and the whole Roc-A-Fella crew wasn't no good crowd for him to be around. Once he got released from prison he should have got himself set up with a psychiatrist that he could go see and talk to and start doing step by step processes for him to get his mindset right including finding better coping skills instead of messing with them drugs. They should have maybe put him on medication while he finished out his probation then start making plans to get him out of New York so he could have a new environment away from all that drama cause the feds was on him back home and if he fucked up one time that was gonna be it for him. He made good connections with certain artists back in the 2000s and I think Pharrell was one of them and he could have tagged along with him and move out there to the west coast where he could get put on in his own house with good bodyguards around him and start making collabs out there with other artists out there. Hell, if possible he probably could have joined Pharrell and Snoop when they went out to Brazil to go do that "Beautiful" music video that would have been good for him to travel around and see more of the world.
