Today I will be reviewing a knife that was sent to me by Odenwolf, the "W Catcher Dagger". This knife is advertised as a "do-it-all" outdoors knife but can it really be used as a camp/outdoors knife, or is it really just a defensive dagger? Is it both? Seems to me it fills the same purpose as their Sow Catcher model. Its a hunting knife for dispatching larger animals & predators like wolves, wild hogs etc.

Got mine yesterday. It’s pretty a bad ass weapon in disguise. Geometry of the blade is best suited for meat cutting and thrusting rather than all purpose application. Scabbard is more premium than what comes with my Kabar. Price is a steal too.

Just Saying MidwayUSA Has a Cold steel drop forged bowie for 49 bucks hopefully still running cheers! Looks like a less tactical Glock Field knife

More of a pig sticker than anything, but it does have that tacticool factor! I might buy one just for the big knife collection I have.

Looking forward to it! I’m gonna be working on a spot in my yard to do a little more in depth testing, but I make my videos while my daughter takes her naps, (stay at home dad) so I have to keep them as simple as possible because I am on a tight timeline!

Seems like you're trying really hard to sell the idea of a self defense mini sword as an outdoor knife. The stretch is pretty thin for this blade.

All about perspective. I’m a glass half full kinda guy. I’m looking at the things you COULD, use this knife for, in the outdoors, that some ppl may not think about, while also pointing out why it’s not a great outdoor knife.
