That's a tough-looking pig sticker. I have a Cudeman (Spanish brand) pig sticker with a 12" (240mm) blade and a leather sheath. It has a really good guard but the handles was slightly too narrow for my hands (and is Olivewood), so I wrapped it in self-adhering ribbed silicone tape. It improved the grip and the wet weather 'grippiness'. The blade is stainless (MOVA), overall length is 14.6 inches (370mm). The blade thickness is 5/32 inch (5mm) at its thickest spot. The guard is 3.5 inches x 1 1/4 inches (90mm x 32mm). My pig sticker has a very fine taper to the point, so I don't thick it would make a good tippy prey bar LOL. If you're curious, just search Cudeman 113-L for more details. But hey, I like that Odenwolf. If I didn't already have a pig sticker, I'd be interested. It reminds me of a Colombia sticker I had a while back that I gifted to someone. Same blade design right down to the fullers.

Reminds me of when reading about the medival times,when people from the lower classes got drafted war for the would go to the blacksmith and have an oversized icepick made,it was for punching trough the chainmail and armor of the upper class on the battlefield

That’s a really cool looking knife, nice sheath also, that blade put me in mind of the older style bayonets, I can already see a use for this in the bush, would be excellent if attacked by a animal, that’s where that long blade comes into play. I think about the frontiersman’s, the would carry a dagger type knife, a Bowie and a skinning knife. That knife seems very functional. Yes I would carry this knife in the bush, depending on what I’m doing would determine if it was going to be my primary or secondary

I bought one myself. Didn't come very sharp, but I know how to fix that. Feels like decent quality for the money. I bought it mainly for the cool factor, but I'll be taking it out to see what it can do soon.

For a zombie apocalipsis is the thing. By the way, I have one of this in olive and wash stone blade, beautiful knife.

Good review. I think the knife would be cool to own just for fun, kind of like a big Bowie knife or something, but for actual use I prefer something more versatile. And I see we have similar hair styles. 😉

This makes me think of a modern style bollocks dagger, too bad it is hollow ground. A nice flat saber grind would really fortify that edge a bit. Don't get me wrong, some of my favorite rough use blades are hollow ground and take a beating just fine.

What's with the orange Sow-Catcher? I've been looking for a black or green one forever and the only ones I've seen are in the hands of reviewers. The garish orange models are repulsive. As for this knife, I love sharp tips. I can't imagine why I'd stick the tip into wood and then begin prying it in such a way as to snap it off. In the woods, defense would be an issue. Then batoning wood to burn. For the money you can't really go wrong.
