As much hate as Austin gets, he's an incredible frontman. Vocally he's on point and his stage presence really can't be beat, atleast for modern metalcore. He's quite a performer.

I have to admit, I have a newfound respect for this band. I feel bad for them because they are obviously trying to change their style and become a legitimate metal band (and this song is perfect proof of them reaching back to their roots) but most of their fanbase (scene chicks) don't like this new path, which I actually think kicks ass. Another reason why I feel bad for them is the fact that their fanbase is basically scene fangirls. You hear them screaming their fucking throats out and I feel bad because they're being treated like some shitty pop punk band as they try to become more heavy.

I'm actually impressed on how good Austin sounds live, compared to most other screamers.

I hate when people call me a poser fan of a band because I dress like a preppy popular chic yet I like stuff like this. Or when people tell me I have to be emo or scene to like this stuff. I like whatever the fuck I want. I don't have to look or act a certain way or fit in a certain label to like something. It's really annoying. I just have an open fucking mind and don't limit myself, thus diversifying my musical taste. I mean sure, I love pop and rap too but anything rock or metal is number one on my list. That's just the way I am! That's just what I love the most! I don't need to fit your expectations and standards to like this "shit", however "poser" or far-fetched or pseudo-fan I may seem. Out of complete honesty, the girls at the concert really need to stop screaming. When AUSTIN tells you to sing, it means sing. Not screaming as if it's a justin beiber concert and be "OMG Austin is so haw-" no. This is coming from one of of mice and men's fans that's a girl and I have to say, its EMBARASSING. I love this band but I bought one of their t shirt and wore it to school & someone Asked me if I was self harming which I never have . You guys need to stop almost idolizing self harm and saying that they saved you and blah blah blah, im tired of seeing people saying not all heroes wear capes and stuff like that. Plus most of this screaming girls don't know the names of anyone else in the band except Austin. I'm all for an artist inspiring you and giving you hope but I'm so tired of seeing people say that they helped them stop cutting, it's brings such negativity towards a fanbase and everyone else is gonna assume everyone who's a fan self harm and I don't appreciate that label.
