Despite having identical genetics and probably identical childhoods, you can tell just from their expressions and movement that they have vastly different personalities. Twins are amazing.

This song has some of the most interesting choreography in it. It's fun to watch. The slight differences in their movements are cool to spot. Their hair flailing about helps too, lots of little movements in the background as they dance.

when i hear this song i am reminded of that old saying, " their bark is worse than their bite". To me what is implied is that these wolves may be unable to physically hurt you but their words tear through you. you wouldn't be running from their bites, but their words and words hurt more than any physical injury can. an injury may leave a physical scar but the initial pain and damage is repaired, but sometimes emotional damage lasts a lifetime and never fades or goes away. so in essence a wolf without teeth's best weapon is their words not their bite.

@fruitpunch-mouth
@fruitpunch-mouth 3 жыл бұрын
@@bettinalykke5151 yes, yes i am aware you are joking; but to those who didn't grasp what i meant in case that happens. A wolf is also an old slang term for a person who is aggressively chasing women in a bad way and also for anyone disguising themselves as a friend when they are really a foe. "wolves in sheep's clothing" is also one saying that reflects this and "the wolves of wall street" meaning that someone is money hungry enough and ruthless and will do anything to climb the cooperate ladder. so it basically means that sometimes what appears to be friendly can be actually massively destructive.
@MrPiotrV
@MrPiotrV 2 ай бұрын
that is most definitely NOT what that saying means.
@fruitpunch-mouth
@fruitpunch-mouth 2 ай бұрын
@@MrPiotrV dude this was 2 years ago. i wasn't implying the saying is what i meant. i said it "reminded me of it" i think of the saying; but not the meaning of it. just because it reminded me of someone who is utilizing words rather than actions to hurt people. doesn't mean that i was talking about the literal meaning of an old idiom. how you got whatever you got from me being reminded of something is beyond me. i was talking about what the song means to me... not the idiom.

I love this song so much it ac be interpreted in so many ways. Personally, I feel that this song is about commitment and trust and how they can be such terrifying and beautiful things when it with the right person. You trust them so much you sometimes feel as if it’s yourself but you realize the scariness of giving away the thoughts within your mind. Trust and commitment can be like wolves without teeth. This song is so beautiful.

Someone mentioned this song was about the soul, and that does make some sense. However, I like to think that instead it's about one's past, their demons, their regrets, and dreams that never were. The wolves. The empowering notion that you can move forward despite these wolves, as long as you're moving forward...your past has no teeth.

Though we are wired to be attracted to symmetry, they decided to emphasis asymmetry within the video, it shows a-symmetry of identical twins, clearly the director could have called cut at every differentiation, instead, it seems as if they exaggerated the difference in movement, making a point of the different ways people with the same nature can turn out, I think it's because we are also wired to view flawed gestures as relatable.

I would, however, say this: I've been expecting to get roasted over my comment. I thought I'd be accused of sexual orientational bias at least, if not actual homophobia, since it implies that a woman loving another woman has less validity than a man feeling the same way. It's a charge to which I would have to plead guilty, and for which I apologise. But I was only kidding, and a little licence might surely be allowed when you're only kidding.

I feel like the twins just came from a walk into the forest. The left one was looking for faeries, fireflies and squirrels, founding the beauty in everything hidden. The right one was focusing on the path, concentrate so they would not be lost. One would be wandering in the forest forever without the other, the other would not discover the magic in the world without the one. They are two different faces of the same coin. And if one is gone, the other cannot be happy again. They are the Moon and the Sun. Bright together.

It seems to me that for all the hardships they endure, they only seem to grow closer. It's not that I compleatly dissagree with your interpretation, I just think they seem to seperate to be one soul

Those girls are twins. I read about them, the photographer who took photos of them since they were very young were fascinated by how they sometimes acted as one. You can't diagnose personality by single sample in single type of situation. Mostly because introvert/extrovert is simplification telling about MAJORITY for examined person. "Wolves with no teeth" is a symbolic reference to how people with outside perspectives can potentially try to ruin other peoples relationships. The song is about two lovers that are truly opening up and surrendering to eachother. While also providing what the other needs because it's what they both want. But amidst it all they get chased and attacked by "wolves with no teeth." Which is symbolic to all the people that dont want to see the couple happy or together. "Wolves with no teeth" Represents the idea of people outside the relationship who are spiteful and dont agree with the relationship and so their position is to tear it apart. The no teeth part means instead of physically attacking, the people are using words to hurt the couple.
@TherealSpacer-yi4ir
@TherealSpacer-yi4ir 3 жыл бұрын
Wolves with out teeth is a metaphor for them being afraid of something that seems scary and threatening but can actually do no harm. There isnt any mention of other people but lyrics such as You hover like a hummingbird Haunt me in my sleep You'll sailing from another world Sinking in my sea, oh You're feeding on my energy I'm letting go of it He wants it Makes it seem to me more about the fears and inhibitions about giving yourself to another and trying to make the commitment.

Ive been having LITTLE TALKS with myself BENEATH MY BED, waiting over SIX WEEKS for this song that I LOVE LOVE LOVE. This video deserves to be seen by well over a THOUSAND EYES... This is one of those songs you can feel deep in YOUR BONES. Weather it's a hike up BLUEBERRY MOUNTAIN, or a visit to your BACKYARD, this song will embed itself into your ORGANS, your heart, brain etc... This is my WINTER SOUND, my MOUNTAIN SOUND, my EMPIRE. This is my YELLOW LIGHT in an ocean of BLACK WATER, because I am only HUMAN, WE all SINK I am a SINKING MAN. It's a SLOW LIFE, and I move SLOW AND STEADY a PHANTOM follows me as I stare at the SKELETONS covered with ice CRYSTALS near my LAKEHOUSE. I blaze my illegal NUMB BEARS to try and escape the pain as I enter a deep deep SLOOM. I want to be in HAWAII, I want to have this HAPPY SONG with me. I feel this HUNGER, like WOLVES WITHOUT TEETH do. Their DIRTY PAWS follow their KING AND LIONHEART, searching for the I OF THE STORM. I picture SILHOUETTES of A BOY AND A BIRD, floating on PARTICLES. The boy, JOSIE, is playing with SUGAR IN A BOWL, sadly singing "WERE GETTING OLDER" This is the power of this song... --FROM FINNER
