7/13/2024 Not my finest ride either today. 61 miles, I just couldn't force that last mile to get 62. It got hot, 92 degrees and no wind at all. I had some shade while I was on the bike path but the last 6 miles are on the road with traffic. I call this one torture but I got home and got me a ice cold Coke out of the frig. I'm sitting here feeling like I'm in Heaven because I'm relaxed and this Coke tastes so good. This is what I call the life. Next, a shower and a nap. 😉

I had a crash just like Jess years ago. Hit a curb head on that i didnt see at 19mph. Got thrown off the bike, onto some grass. Amazingly didnt break anything, but my steel rim got bent bad enough that it had to be replaced.

Good real world experience video, not everyday on the bike is roses…

I always carry a small can of coke and a very small squeeze bottle of maple syrup for emergencies, rarely use them but they have helped in a few circumstances.

😂😂😂 you lucky George, I hit a pot hole and broke my clavicle in 3 pieces, was out for 3 months but my carbon bike was ok though not a scratch

looks like ritchey 2 bolt seatpost..i had one..no matter how tight, it would slip..i couldnt throw it away fast enough...im sure yours was tight enough...many posts on market that wont move no matter the size of the hit..this isnt one of them
