Great video, loved it. Of course, up until the sawmill shot I was thinking- “man this guy speaks so much like Dave Whipple.” Then it dawned on me when I recognized the sawmill. Awesome cabin.

Great build love how you did the inside turned out great outside looks good too. You can definitely tell your part of the Whipple family hahaha. Whitewater Drive in a well so you have water out there. Maybe next time. It's nice to see someone resource everything from what is around you really can't put a value on that until you are finished. I love the concept, the layout, and your editing style in the video. The solar setup is perfect for a small cabin like this. The only thing that was strange was how you realized you should reinforce your rim board and floor joists, but then built your stairs with treads set on 2x4's that are just nailed into the boards you used for stringers. If you leave it like that, it'll only be a few years before those become a pretty serious risk of failure. Oh yeah, that outdoor kitchen is awesome! :)

You Whipple folks sure do some great work, I have learnt a heck of a lot from watching you all and just love following along. Here's a top tip for when you are next building with blocks or bricks. Add a little dish washing soap when mixing up the cement mortar, it will make it flow like silky butter. Many thanks David in the UK.
