Cabins are a never-ending battle. Just being out there must feel awesome though. I always have work to do at mine but I love being out there. Gracie reminds me so much of my Samantha (Black Lab). Gracie says, Get out of the woods, another blizzard is coming. I'm shoveling as time goes on, Just shoveling 2", so heavy I can hardly move it. We have 6 inches so far, we are halfway through the prediction. You haven't mentioned, How is your tummy, is everything under control now? Love the drone shots.

Looks great!!! I'm working on a camp in Maine as well, using platforms and wall tents to stay in, have the same mountain trapper sleeping bags.... so comfortable.... and I occasionally have a dog sleeping on them when she visits. I've been watch your channel for a while now along with your friends Joe and Donnie. Love what you are doing!! Adventure On!!

I see a short where you have a leaky wall tent. My suggestion is buy once cry once spend a little more and have yrs of use after. Kodiak 10x10 canvas stove ready lodge tent. Not sure of your budget but know a couple guys that have these and they rave about them!!!

DAVIS WALL TENT!!! Anything else is crap!! I have 3 (12x14) tents in Maine on platforms that I’ll set up now and take them down in October. This will be the 3rd year. I had them set up last year when it rained every weekend and not one drop of water. I added the option of mildew and fire treatment. Their canvas shrinks when it gets wet closing up the pores but also breaths so no condensation. I used their brackets and then cut the poles using EMT conduit. I have a window in the back and on the sides. Their customer service is amazing. When your camp is complete you can use it for extra sleeping space. ADVENTURE ON!!

I'm sure you have considered this, but inside of replacing the floor joists entirely, might it be simpler and easier just to "sister" each of the 2x4s, In effect making them 4x4s? This would mean that you didn't do all that work on your "sub-floor" for nothing. Just a thought . . . Chris (in Appleton)
