Alrighty y’all, I finally had a chance to put together this video for ya, sit tight and learn all there is to know about these awesome bumpers from f44 off-road.
Quick note, when ordering from f44 your best bet is to email them directly to figure out the details of your bumper order as they do tend to have a few month wait list and a few configurations of their bumpers. Let them know I sent ya and I’m sure they’ll help ya get exactly what you need.

Yes I’m a big fan of the improved clearance these bad boys give ya! And it has the mount but no lighting hookups, I’ve been running it for almost 2 years without and even when I’ve been pulled over for other things I’ve never had issues with the lack of lights

Nice Trek I also have a 1st gen and I just adapted a jeep Smitty billt bumper to mine and it has a tire carrier built in. I have tried towing but I am going to try. What axles do you use?

I run oreilys front axles that I replace under warranty regularly, and oem in the rear as they tend to last longer

I think I am sold on this. Asside from cutting the body, are they any other mods needed for installation for the rear bumper?

You gotta trim the wheel well liner too but otherwise it’s bolt on! Super simple and with 2 or 3 people installs a breeze ❤

Personally I think it’s the most capable Subaru, best power to weight ratio between it and forester, and a better gearing than the outback, with a few mods it’s going to be a beast off-road!

you crosstrek is amazing; its a tank what is the weight of the front bumper ?

It’s give or take 100 lbs plus the weight of winch and lights, probably 160lbs total

Does that 2.4 liter really have the power to pull those BIG wheels?? Seems to me it's UNDERPOWERED as stock-much less built like that.. LOOKS good- how does it do???

So the crosstrek originally comes with an NA 2.0, I did swap in an NA 2.5 outback motor in though which helps for sure to keep this car driveable! The turbo 2.4 is a wrx and outback motor that pushes 260 give or take up, a huge boost over na, and those vehicles really have some get up even with the tires, wilderness outback especially

Every time I’ve gone to F44s website to get this front bumper it always says it’s sold out idk why but I’d love this bumper for mine instead of the simple pods I have on right now
