I am a military retiree living in Kentucky, south of Thomas Massie's Congressional District. I've been so disgusted by the needless foreign interventions and the actions our government takes overseas that is in complete contrast to what was written in America's founding documents. When I've watched Congressman Massie dare to speak out against the lobby, he seems like a lone voice in the midst of a bunch of Congressional Cowards. There have been times recently when I've said to myself, "I need to move a little more north so I can be in a district where I can be proud of my Congressman. The thing is, I know any such energies need to be invested in writing my Congressmouse and asking him to, "Respectfully request that you grow a set." Time to get busy with that letter, one that will be a bit more restrained, but one that makes him understand the error of his ways and that I will do everything I can to expose him for the undermining of our our Constitution.

@CottonWoodBlues Massie was recently primaried by a candidate that was fully funded by the Aipac lobby. They ran attack ads against him using SuperPacs. They set out to discredit and defame him, for no ther reason, then he rebuffed their advances, like an unrequited and scorned lover. They wanted to control how he voted on literally everything and he said no, that he values the opinions of his constituents more highly than that of Lobbyists for the State of Israel and Jewish concerns in America, and they tried to destroy his political career for it. And, in my above statement, you should infer that it is my belief that no one who rejects AIPAC lobbyists as a politician seeking federal office will ever find themselves in a position to gain the highest office within the current political climate and power paradigm in DC. Hope that clarifies things.

I think it’s because he was one of the only politicians to push back against a totalitarian definition of antisemitism recently. I am not as familiar with his view on Israel as such.
