In the case of the USA, he said the presidents own kids. So I think he’s saying the one (leader) that calls the final shot on going to war should have they’re kid there. As to say are they willing to gamble they’re own kids life fighting a war, if not, than they shouldn’t go to war. But yes, politicians also.

Politicians, yes. But maybe not the president. It's like sending the Prince out to war just to get captured and used for leverage. We'd hope if such a case, they'd just be another soldier but, they really wouldn't be. Entire squads will get sacrificed just to recover this target.

That would be great cause in India we have 1 ethnicity that only join politics or business and looting common people but their contribution to military is 0 like they don't even have a regiment when there's naga regt, Gurkha regt, Bihar regt or Sikh regt

bookworm, artistic, passive me was recruited hard by the military when I was about to graduate highschool. They called my house and everything. I even explained to them the ways in which I wasnt suited physically or personality wise and they still pushed. They must have been desperate.

The cutoff age for Army use to be like 36. I'm hearing guys who are older going to BCT. Must be a new reg or a waivers involved.

I had a 40 year old Afghani in my Marine Corps boot camp. He was not able to get a high n tight cause he was balding. But he was a fuckin motivator tbh so it's okay

I've always wished our country would require 2 yrs of military (or at least boot camp) like other countries, but nooo...all we got is required (useless) 2yrs of foreign language in highschool. What teenager is gonna retain that info at that age. I can't even remember shit I learned in French class 20yrs ago. I just remember some of the words cuz I happen to be viet & many of our words are basically French words.......with a heavy viet accent 🥴

Ive had recruiters contacting me since I graduated from high school almost 10 years ago. Ive gotten letters in the mail, text messages, facebook friend request and messages from supposed local recruiters. They are ruthless.
