Out of the unknown past and into an unknown future. Welcome to the world of Blade Runner.
The 1.1 cut is the culmination of a year-long effort to produce the most immersive soundscape experience which transports you to the universe of Blade Runner.
Rebuilt from scratch, the audio has been mastered for maximum cinematic impact. It was made to be experienced on a massive sound system, or a high-quality pair of headphones.
The video is something else entirely. Immerse yourself in “Off World” even further by witnessing Earth like never before in one of the broadest aspect ratios ever created: IMAX 3.6, in 4K60 resolution.
Many thanks to the original composers: Vangelis, Hans Zimmer and Benjamin Wallfisch. Additionally, thanks to Gage McCarrall and Thee Landstander for the full baseline test and to Seán Doran for the Earth footage.
So sit back, have a drink and enjoy the journey to Off World.

Blade Runner 2049 is an absolute masterpiece of science-fiction. I never thought I would see a movie of such quality, and this soundscape is a three-hour love letter to it's auditory greatness. An amazing job, made by a true fan.

It is an extremely poor quality homage to the original movie that told a story that nobody asked to be told. It was good enough that the original movie presented us with a window into the lives of Decker and Rachel that left us with our own questions to answer once the window had closed. The soundscape is beautiful but it acts equally well one for the original movie, not for the sub-standard sequel.

REST IN PEACE, VANGELIS. The world will never know anyone as expansive as your compositions are/were. You brought me through an important part of my life when BLADE RUNNER (1982) came out. And I thank A'AN Communications for this incredible work of art to Vangelis' memory!

Of all the creative figures of art and content that I have experienced throughout the internet since it was created decades ago, this reprise is singularly the most masterful & beautiful rendition of everything I truly love and that inspires me, personally. Not only the original story, universe and theme but as a whole the level of effort, attention to quality, selection of score & imagery, re-engineered. I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for crafting such a wonderful presentation. I would hope that those credited would approve and accept this subject of work. I spent every second watching and listening to every detail with delight.

Stuggering. Mesmerizing. Nothing comes close at creating such complex deeply feelings like Blade Runner's world does, nothing at all. And you greatly enhanched these subtly, intimate feelings. Like many others said, Blade Runner is a journey, and this is a hell of a journey. Greetings from Italy.

I love it... hear it for the first time... it make me feel good but in someway sad to because I'm thinking about me and my live espacially the last 3 years and I'm crying now but not in pain... Es la primera vez, que la escucho, las imágenes son portentosas, ya que no todos podemos tener esta vista de nuestro Planeta, y aunado a la excelente mezcla de la música, realmente para los que quieran y sepan meditar será un viaje mas alla de nuestro Planeta, para admirar una infinita parte de la Creación y estar maravillosamente contentos por esta oportunidad de estar cerca de Nuestro Creador y dar las gracias por esta vida, con respecto a la música, ya había comentado que esta composición de Vangelis, era un icono en los soundtracks y seria tema para otros compositores que la tomarían como base, para sus futuros trabajos muy portentosos, no me equivoque, este que escuchamos es la muestra de varios que han estado saliendo, gracias a todos por estas joyas divinas al oído y al Alma. Forgot to add I love the visuals as well. I have a projector because my work involves being a protectionist so I got one for my little flat in the middle of Glasgow and I put this video against a bare wall with my surround sound on and the lights dimmed and it was raining outside with the modern neon signs mixed with gothic 18th century scottish brickwork and buildings outside and I realised I really am living in the 2020s

@@karl7567 Nah, it's not that. You're probably referencing the "Loudness War", but I opened this in Audacity, and compared it to other tracks. The total volume for this track has been significantly reduced, beyond even accounting for the loudness of contemporary music production. Easy fix with Audacity, tho. Now it sounds very good, without my having to double my normal speaker volume.

@@ryanr3737 Thank-you for the kind words Ryan, it's truly appreciated. In regards to the volume. When looking back I notice that it is indeed quiet. The original tracks have an incredible amount of purposeful clipping which proved to be quite tricky to restore (even with UHQ sources), a consequence of that was lower overall volume. Ultimately I think it was an incorrect volume setting on the final export. Oh well.
