Exactly, I’ve got a purebred pit and a chihuahua and i can confidently say that my chihuahua with less than 6 teeth will gum u to death- jk he’s a 15 yo couch potato and my pittie is very affectionate and loves new people and the opportunity to get treats. My heart goes out to all the pitties tryna live a new life with ptsd of a fighting ring and pitties in shelters that no one picks.

Its just size and power. Thats all. Theres a damn mountain lion near me that naps on my concrete patio once or twice a month. He's chill. Gives me slow blinks. Lets me give him chin scratchies through the sliding glass door, opened just a crack. But he still hurts me. His tongue isn't sandpaper, its a bed of needles. 3 licks and I'm bleeding. Do I want to open the door and get lion snuggles? Sure. But I'm not an idiot. Even if he's not trying to hurt me, he can. Pitbull plays with a kid, kid gets hurt, he's labeled vicious. I'd guess 50% of pitbull attacks aren't 'attacks'. My rule of thumb for critters, wild and domestic, is that you can punt them 10 feet. Its the difference between bandaids and stitches.

Pitbull's are only labeled that way because its reported, but there is a secret hidden statistic that shows not only injury, but more DEATH occurs from small, genetically breed does (like the ones we hear yapping in every other video) simply because the owner cannot deal with the non-stop barking & peeing from the poor cat trapped within the small dog body.. 🤣 its only a joke chill

Pitbulls aren’t inherently dangerous it’s just the way people that people raise them. A lot of people raise them as guard dogs or fighting dogs and that’s what hurts kids

As someone who has gotten them before, I think that's just like a scratch or irritation. The neck skin is very sensitive, so even a rough scratch can leave marks like that. Hickeys are usually purple, and as they lighten they become more yellow. Pretty sure oomps is single.

I have a pit mix, and she is the most beautiful dog in the world. She's massive due to her crossbreed, but she has a lot of pitbull tendencies. Too many inexperienced people choose to raise them and that's the problem. She is extremely protective of my family, and has never bitten anyone. Her favorite member of the family was an infant that is now 7. All that said, when people come over that don't know her I put her away. You can't get in her face, if she barks you can't just hold your hand out for her to smell you, if her.first impression is negative then she will be hostile. If it's someone important, then slow introductions are made. But when she's not being protective, she's 110lbs of love. People just need to know the breed better. Maybe prove that they've raised and properly trained difficult dogs in the past before getting one.

Funfact the 4% statistic is untrue, Pitbulls are some of the most patient and kind dogs ever, however they are often misidentified. A lot of dogs are confused for pitbulls.

Pitbulls aren't even #1 on the aggressive breeds list, the issue is that they are very commonly owned compared to the others. There aren't a whole of people walking around with Cane Corsos, Dogo Argentinos or other more elusive breeds. I used to work with dogs and pitbulls with a good breed line and good owners are fantastic dogs.

Pitties are used a lot in dog fighting but they were actually bred to be nanny dogs. They are very sweet just very protective and unfortunately that protectiveness is used by some really bad people. I love pitbulls.

I've had many pitbull's, and they weren't violent. They're actually some of the sweetest dogs ever. If you're a bad person, and you abuse a dog, it'll make any breed aggressive. I've rescued so many pitbull's, and they're the biggest babies out of any of the dogs I've had. Right now I have five dogs, and I'm about to get a sixth. Sorry, I just love pit bulls lol

Pitbulls get to much hate for how sweet they actually are. My family rescued one a few years ago from a not good situation and he had no interest whatsoever with hurting any of my other dogs or family members. He would sleep in my brothers bed and absolutely loved him (my brother). We lost him a few months after getting him due to him having seizures. He was a great dog❤️

Yeah the problem is that pretty much any medium sized dog, especially terrier breeds, get labeled as "pit bulls" by cops/reporters, constantly being misidentified. There was a local one a few years ago that was reported as a "pit bull" attack.....it was a boxer.......

I haven't even watched this video yet and these comments are leaving QUITE the bad taste in my mouth already....! Growing up all we ever had were bulldog pit Bull mixes of varying degrees. I understand completely where y'all are coming from I can't STAND the spread of misinformation surrounding pits, like seriously? STILL?! after all this time Jesus Christ hop off it ya know??? pitbulls were bred for fighting, but like I like to think it was how some were trained, cause I've heard, more often than not, of pitbulls being more loyal companions rather than being aggressive. At the end of the day I really think some dogs, regardless of their breed, can just be more aggressive naturally. Oompa spoke it best *snaps*

My interpretation of Bill's behavior in the episode of The Last of Us you mention. Granted, I don't know if it's right, or even convincing, but it makes mild sense to me so it's part of my head-canon now: Bill absolutely loved Frank, the one person in his new life that gave him purpose. Bill would rather die himself than risk Frank's safety, and since Frank had very little shooting or survival experience on par with Bill's, it made sense to me that Bill would try to draw the fire of the attacking survivors. Given the amount of lead those survivors were packing, it seems very possible that any bullets passing into or through the house where Frank was holed up were not risks Bill was willing to take. I imagine Bill had a solid idea as to which of his defensive measures had not yet deployed at the moment he walked out into the street. Maybe he felt just sure enough of his success that exposing himself to return fire was a smaller risk compared to engaging the attackers from within the house. Of course, I think it's also very possible that Bill just did a dumb thing, a common occurrence when we're trying to protect the people we love.
